Alex is pretty cool. He loves to talk. He's an easy grader. He gives two grades on each paper: the grade you earned and the grade you will get if you make the revisions he suggests and resubmit it. He makes you turn your papers in to turnitin.com to make sure you did not cheat. Very little homework; no final. Go to class or your grade will suffer.

Very nice guy. Give you the chance to rewrite every essay you turn into him so you can get an A on every one. Encourages people to ask questions and give their opinions on stories that you read. But sometimes when you ask a question he'll flip it around and ask you the same on; kinda gets annoying.

if nothing else, he's an extremely generous grader. each three hour class would have lasted 15 minutes if he had been able to resist bringing up politics and current events every 30 seconds. but if you can survive that, it's worth the easy grade.

Great all around english teacher. Very helpfull on essays. You can email him your essay and he'll email you back asap telling you what he thinks about it and what you should do. Learned a lot from him. Definetly take him for english if you get the chance.

If you can spell your own name and correctly form a sentence, you're in for a LONG SEMESTER. He teaches class to college students like they're first graders. I had a real problem staying awake while he droned on and on.
