Absolutely AWESOME teacher! Had her for 1157&58 and just wish I could have her again! She is engaging& loves to poke and prod your brain with different views and makes you open up your mind. She is so helpful and offers several opportunities to succeed in her course. What you put in is what you earn.

One of the best. She uses alot of videos and music to help explain what we need to do when we are writing our papers. It makes class so much fun and she is hilarious and engaging. As long as you turn in everything on time, you should pass

Ok so here is the deal, she is a loving teacher who is honest and to the point. She wants to make her students better and as a result grades relatively hard. But there are several opportunities for extracredit and if you do your work you can revise them all for a new grade. What YOU put in is what YOU get out. LOVE MS A

Miss A is awesome. If you want to learn something, and have your mind blown and have your perspective on writing and culture changed, take her class. Miss A is the kind of teacher that loves her students before she meets them and htat is apparent through her teaching.

Ms. Arnold is an awesome teacher! If you show up to every class, follow guidelines, do the assignments, and are respectful you will do fine in this class. She is always available and willing to help, especially if you show that you not only care about what grade you are trying to get, but actually want to earn the A. Highly recommended!!!

Ms. Arnold is an excellent teacher. If you're looking for an easy A, then she is not the professor to take. However, if you're looking to learn a lot and become a much better writer, then take her. She is easy-going and is very willing to help her students. I learned a great deal from her, and passed her class with an A. I strongly recommend her!

Good Teacher. But a burtal grader. She expects a lot from Freshmen. I compare her to a tough coach, who will totally break you down and then will put every effort to bring you back up. Avoid her class if you want an easy A, but if you want to be a better writer at the end regardless of the grade than definetly take hir class.

She would probably be better off teaching a higher level English class, but for freshman English she's absolutely horrible. She sees more value for pretty sounding lies than for the raw truth in an argument. If you're a liberal arts major though, this class would be helpful. And since I'm not one, this is the most useless class I've ever taken.

Allison is pretty close minded especially for an english teacher. It's her way or no way. She thinks she runs UNO just because she's head of the freshmen english department. She's nice, but when it comes to teaching and grading, that a whole other story. She makes rude comments sometimes when grading her student's papers and overall, she's hard.

She is the worst teacher i have ever taken. If you do not answer questions the way she would you are wrong and get no credit. Her grading is not consistent and for an English teacher she is extremely narrow minded. Also, if you plan on challenging your grade, she will be quick to threaten you by saying she is on the board.

Great teacher...fun class...she loves this stuff, so she makes it interesting. Always read the assigned book. Fair exams..However, grades essays very hard. She is very helpful and informative. GREAT personality!
