Professor Blum is a wonderful woman. She is very caring and wants you to do well in her class. There is a lot of homework but only 3 tests. She makes class fun and has a good sense of humor. I would highly recommend her and would definitely take her again.

Professor Blum is a great teacher. She knows how to teach Math. I took her math 111, and she explained everything that was needed to understand each problem. Come to each class, new subjects are taught every class. she gives four tests, and there are group quizes each week except for the last few weeks.

Took Professor Blum for my online MAT111 class. Super challenging at first, but once you realize you don't need to watch the videos to understand the math, you'll be fine. There's other ways of learning the material then watching a ton of useless videos on each topic. ALSO, use the websites mathway and symbolab and you're set! Does all the work

Andrea Blum is an incredible math teacher. I've needed to take MAT006 as a prerequisite for the past four years and have been avoiding it (like most students, math is not my strong point by any means). I decided to take the plunge and chose her as my professor. I passed with flying colors. She's absolutely wonderful. Helpful, clear, and fair.

A very inspirational and caring woman. Math courses are not the easiest classes to take in a 5 week summer session. However she made it manageable. She teaches differently compared to most math professors. This can be good or bad depending how you learn. She is very easy going and will answer any questions you have. She wants you to pass her class!

Prof. Blum is extremely helpful, in and out of class. She assigns no extra credit or gives bonus points although she is very empathetic toward her students. If you want the grade work for it, don't rely on her to spoon feed you. I took her for Calc 2 and she helped/cared a lot. Homework will never go away but if you do it - it'll help your grade!

Took her for Fall 2014. Like most classes there was work every week, it was pretty moderate though. She's there if you need anything and responds to emails in a timely manner. Seemed pretty nice from the little contact I had with her. After all its not like I saw her everyday. Good professor though.

I took this class my last semester at Suffolk, and I thought it was really difficult. Instead of going over the procedures to solve math problems, she often taught the theory and left you to solve the math problems before offering explanations. For that reason, many people struggled but I heard that's to be expected of a college-level precalculus.

She's a great teacher. I took her class over the summer as a repeat, and had low expectations. However, she understands that not everyone is good at math and offers help after class . Tests were like the online quizzes so no surprises. Heavy work load but expected for a summer class. If you put in the effort you will pass. Easy going, nice lady.
