Very carrying for his students. He will use a whole class sections just to answer students questions. Let the class decide when they want to take the test to allow students ample time to study.

For anyone who is nervous about math, I highly recommend Prof Barker. He is very straightforward with lectures and even color codes problems so they are very easy to follow along with. The class is test heavy, and 80% of your grade is dependent on how well you do. Homework is 10% and your final is 10%. Barker is hilarious and keeps class engaging

Attendance should be seen as mandatory for any math class, but you won't want to miss Professor Barker's lectures. He lectures in a way that always keeps his audience involved. He is an excellent math teacher. I should know, I've taken him for calc1, calc 2 and now calc 4. I highly recommend taking Professor Barker if you can.

Barker is a true gem that can't be found find anywhere else. The most that is liked about Barker is his way of seeing student's point of views and answering questions with neat perfection. Barker seems utterly superhuman while performing lecturing and will enlighten those in the presence of his resplendent being.

I love this professor! He teaches very well. I understand all the concepts he teachers and if I need extra help, his homework platform that he uses is webassign. It provides good questions and also has video example just in case you needed a little more help on it. His homework usually isn't long. He also has practice exams for each one online.

I took Barker for math 1 and 2, and sad he's not teaching 3. His lectures were so spot on that buying the book was unnecessary. He doesn't grade the exams, so if you see unreasonable points being deducted, you can wager with him and will give you some points back. overall, great dude and best teacher!

If you can take Barker, do it. He tries to always mention how the math he is teaching could be useful in the real world, which makes the math more interesting than: solve this, memorize this function, because; this is what the class is about. Fun lectures and wants students to do well. Overall the BEST math teacher I have had at Delta.

He is the most awesome professor I have ever met. He goes out of the way just to make his student comfortable in any situation. He is available at all times and is a quick responder. One should definitely take his classes as he teaches Math in a very fun way. Not to forget, he makes students laugh out loud number of times.

Great lecturer and keeps everything interesting. Goes slow with theory to not lose anyone. The labs were fun and were pretty simple, and the tests were not that hard either. If you show up to class and do a handful of problems through the book and understand whats going on you'll breeze by. I would recommend him to anyone, amazing teacher.

Professor Barker is amazing. I recommend going to all lectures and attempting to do the homework by the end of week so it won't pile up at the end of the semester. By the way homework is all online. His test are fairly easy. He does review before a test and gives sample exams. Also do not be afraid to approach him for any questions.

Good professor. He teaches the material well and answers questions well. Tests are 80% of grade 10% homework and 10% final. The tests are easy if you come to class and know what your doing in the problem. I never felt uneasy about asking a question. The only thing I would say is to answer his questions, he seems frustrated when people don't answer

Barker has a passion for mathematics that is apparent in his teaching. Classes consist of lectures. He goes out of his way to make sure everyone is following him. The end of every section is followed up with an exam. There are about 6 exams which constitute 80% of your grade. These are tough. Must work hard. Great learning opportunity. Recommend!

Alright! first of all hats off to this professor. He is the only one that can make you love Math. I loved Math from the very beginning but professor Barker made me love it more. My parents wants me to be in Medical field but looks like i would ditch that field lol. Overall, very nice professor. You can get an A with a little bit of more study.

Well well well,where do I begin. Sir Christopher of Barker deserves a nobel prize in my whole hearted honest opinion. This man is a straight genius and magician: I mean the things this guy comes up with is absolutely remarkable. His discovery of integrating, deriving and the entire Fundamental Theory of Calculus has truly left a mark on the world.

Barker is on of the best professors at Delta. He knows his stuff very well and explains things thoroughly. Only downside is I thought I signed up for his CUL ART 001 because I am a culinary student, only to realize that all he does is talk about math and derivatives. I mean all that stuff is cool but I thought I was going to learn how to cook.
