Had for condensed 6 week summer course, ALOT of stuff covered, but that's not her fault. Very good at taking lessons from the textbook and making her own lesson plans with practice problems to work on. One thing that bothered me is she refused to say numbers were positivenegative. She said plusminus. Wha??

Luckily I knew all of the material already from high school, but she does try to teach. I barely cracked open my textbook, and there is no mandatory homework. There are notes you will need to print out for the lectures and it's a lot of paper, so if need be, use the library for that. Test are straightforward, all problems on tests are covered.

SHE Had a tough time showing up to class, especially on days before tests, which is super unhelpful. When you ask for help she gets an attitude. Wastes her time going over things that dont matter while she could be going over more important things.

although she's not the best teacher, you can tell she tries. And i understood most of what she was teaching. lucky for me i knew a lot of it already also. she's very silly though and emotional. but i think she just has a ditsy personality. Lol

Hated it. So much. We literally spent an hour on THREE problems that were extremely simple. She "jokes" around until you laugh. Which will take a while. I just wanted to get in and out of the class room as fast as possible and her constant babbling made it feel like a 3 hour class. Don't take her class. You'll rip your hair out.

Took online condensed 6wk course.... Was on my way to getting an A in the class.... but the final module she didn't tell us what to study. She posted a few videos and a short message about trig functions and that was it. Terrible.

Absolutely horrible. No help at all dosnt teach martial good at all. Test are ridiculously hard. I got a A in my last math class and got a C strictly because of her. Needs to be fired ASAP!!

she was a horrible teacher. i'm a smart student with 2 classes left to graduate and i barely passed her class. she isnt helpful at all and i agree with everything everyone else stated on here. she said her final wasnt cumlative but she had a problem on her review from chapter one!!! I wouldnt recommend her to anyone

I took this class over the summer so of course it was pretty fast-paced. She gave a lot of examples which was great. She lets you use a full page of notes front and back on tests. Homework is not mandatory but if you do it, it will help you a lot on the tests. Overall it was a pretty easy class.

She is horrible!!!! I had her last semester of Spring 07' and I was a straight victim when she accused me having a conversation when I wasn't. I strongly believe she has OCD because she will spend more time straightening her markers out and blowing dust off her notes! I suggest that she needs to retire from teaching all together. She puts examples on the board and tells you if you do it at home you will get this answer. Then she moves to the next example. She only presents what she has in her notes and when you question her, your lucky if she understands what you are trying to ask.

If you already know college algebra and you do not expect any help or instruction from the instructor, shes the one you want. She is not patient, nor helpfull at all to students who may not know the subject well. At times she even verges on being rude.

Comment:

Half the class dropped because of her lack of helpfulness. Sometimes she had a bad attitude. She told one student if you don't understand it check your book because I'm not telling you how to do it (although we were all just learning it for first time). Grading isn't fair. This course in general is not ideal for a summer course...too much material!
