Comment:

Professor Sandor was Fine. It was one of those classes where I didn't mind going, but it wasn't my favorite class either. Frankly, it was an easy A. I took this class during my last semester at SUNY Orange, and for the most part it was smooth sailing. Maybe 5-6 short stories to write/ 15 page Major Story/Few reading quizzes. Attendance is a bigge.

Unorganized. Does not give clear instructions. Hard to talk to, and will not talk after class. Barely answers emails, and office hours are rare to get to. Would not recommend.

first essay we wrote she wrote the grades on the board. a- 1 person b- no one c- 4 people and the rest of the class was in the D or F range. I thought she was very rude and not approachable. I don't recommend her if you're not an excellent writer

Comment:

Professor Sandor gives clear outlines for all assignments, and also gives good feedback. Since she gives clear directions, she is strict about them. For instance, paragraphs need to be a certain length. However, her assignments build on one another and this makes the exams and essays a lot easier. She makes the best out of the online course format.

Sandor is one of the best at SUNY Orange. She is a hard grader but gives good feedback and really tries to help you out. Be serious about your studies and you'll do fine; just be prepared to bust your butt!

Amazing instructor. I struggle with ideas, and putting my thoughts into words. I must say that Mrs. Sandor was very understanding with regards to this personal struggle. She is helpful and kind. Loved her class. she is very humorous. Do your work and she will see your efforts.

You MUST keep up with the book readings or you will fall behind and even fail the course. She does 3 discussions a week and then you must comment on 2 peoples discussion post and then reply to anyone/her that commented on your post. Also asks for journal entries. A LOT of reading of course.

Great teacher, full of energy. Really funny. do the readings she quizzes you on some of them. the papers she always has you do re-writes unless you got an A. shes willing to look at your stuff.the final 15 page paper is pretty easy to do and she lets you workshop. take her class!

I took Creative Writing and Contemporary Novels with Prof Sandor. I absolutely loved them both. She is an amazing teacher. Her energy is always high, she has a great sense of humor, and I learned SO much in both courses. I highly recommend taking a class with her.

I had Ms. Sandor for Creative Writing, an advanced English class. She was excellent! Before taking this class I had never written anything creative for a grade and now I love it! She is fun, provides great input, teaches you how to write a short story and at the end gives you resources if you want to publish your own stuff.

Great, great professor. Loved her class. She makes English so interesting and you learn a great deal. She even makes poetry fun to learn, so she has to be good! I recommend her to everyone taking all levels of English.
