Very nice guy. Grades fairly, and always willing to help with papers---which there were a lot of. Other than multiple papers and reflections, I had fun in this class.

Comment:

I took ENGL1102 in the summer. He always seemed ill prepared and scatter brained when it came to lectures. Didn't put much work into the course since we basically watched movies the whole time. Arbitrary grading on papers, with no grading rubric. Read the books carefully and you should do ok. Follow carefully whatever writing instruction he gives

Humanities was not the nightmare I thought it would be. Tests were fairly easy and the midterm and the final were both in-class essays. He is a little scatter brained, and he laughs at his own jokes, but he is not a hard grader. Take him if you can.

Very friendly guy. He's enthusiastic about his topic but tends to get a little off track when he's lecturing. He likes class participation. The test are pretty easy as long as you read the subject matter and take good notes. A little unclear at times but overall a good teacher.

I don't know where all the people who wrote negative comments about this guy are coming from because I thought he was a great teacher! Gives interesting and detailed lectures, which his tests will come directly from. Also gives alto of readings, but you can get by with just doing the Spark Notes. Totally erased my fear of ASU Humanities! Take Him!!

Ok teacher...hard to understand cause of his accent and good luck reading his handwriting. At times he is a hard grader. He is willing to help you, but doesn't always understand what you are trying to ask. He rambles a lot, but its because he loves his field and really is interested in it. He is always happy.

I took his COMS2010 class and I am still unsure what it was really about. He has notecards that he makes points from and asks a bunch of rhetorical questions. His grading is confusing but there is only a midterm, final and group project. He gives you the topics for all. Easy A if you participate. He also cancels class for 2 weeks to have "meetings"

LONG WINDED. but other than that excellent. I like the guy. I made all A's. go to class, pay attention to lectures and you will make an A. someone told me not to read the assignment and i would still do well. they were right.

The easiest humanities professor ever! If you just show up for class, take notes and you can get an A without even doing the reading. He goes over all the readings and explains in detail what they are about. His tests only cover what he has discussed in class. I wasn't too sure about his personality at first but he's okay.
