I do not understand any of the "good" ratings for this professor on this site. They must be placed there by the school trolling this site. Everyone who was in my class with him agreed he was the worst, most disorganized, hardest to understand professor they have ever had. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

He is a great professor. His teaching style is disorganized and confusing but the tests are based mainly off the chapters and practice problems. You do need to read the textbook to do well. Get to know him away from the classroom and you find out that he does want to see you succeed and do well. Challenging but worth it.

This course was extremely disorganized. If you take this course with him I suggest working through all the problems at the end of the chapter and examples. The course grade was based on 3 exams (90%) and one case 2-pg paper (10%). He hates busy work but is very generous with final grades at the end. Best of luck with this course.

He is by far one of my favorite professors. He is one of those people you want to get to know on a personal level, b/c he will help you out alot in the future whether is graduate school or career. His test are hard and reading the book is essential. But he allows you to interact and apply your thoughts to the class. Go with him, you won't regret it

Hhis class is entertaining and he does not bore you with crap youll never need. He uses real world examples but his tests are hard and he does not curve until the final grades are turned in...Stick threw the class, i averaged about 60% on all tests but he gave me a B for the semester, MAKE SURE TO TALK IN CLASS!!! i did not like him at first but he grew on me. he does go off on tangents quite a bit that don't really have to do with the subject but they're fun to hear. by the tests, he does tell you what is needed and is okay. i enjoyed him.

Dr. Sundaram talks more about himself and how he is going to teach you the meaning of getting rich by 40 than he ever bothers to teach you about the formulas you need to learn finance. Ridicules.

My only B at Ball State. Very intelligent but leaves a lot open to interpretation. Suggest that he talk to you about what the tests will be like. After the first test, I had a better understanding of what he expected. I guess you live and learn.
