All of the lectures were pretty chaotic but if you payed attention at the right time, you could learn a lot. Statics is supposed to be a very easy class, but he makes his exams insane.

Comment:

Statics was a challenging class. Prof. Gurjar didn't exactly connect with us very well, and the lectures were disorganized to a degree. The homework helps your grade considerably, so make sure to do it. Tests are fairly predictable, but very long. Be prepared to learn on your own. The final was incredibly rough and dropped my grade a letter.

Only took vague notes and went back and taught myself the subject from the book. I didn't follow his teaching style, but that's more me than him. He's a really nice professor that will help if you ask for it. Love his grading policies, make sure you show up and do the homework.

Great professor! With the tests, he is interested more in process than if you arrived at the right answer. As long as you know what you are doing, even if you can't finish a problem you'll still get the majority of the credit. He showed enthusiasm for the course content, and was overall a great professor.

Dr. Gurjar is one of the best teachers I have ever had for any class. He is an excellent mentor. He actually sits down with you and shows you step-by-step instructions if you are having problems. Simply put, he is on top of his game, teaches the material very meticulously, clearly, is always available, courteous and friendly if you need help.

Prof. Gurjar is one of the best proffesors at this school. He is very VERY lenient on grading pretty much letting you go for mistakes. He is crystal clear when teaching and very helpful if you visit him during office hours. He is very knowledgeable on the topic and is simply unlike any other prof. he is really laid back and chilled. MUST TAKE HIM

I had this professor for Solid Mechanics. Next semester since I am CIV I have him as a professor 3 times. Honestly I am excited since he was a fair teacher. He was extremely disorganized. Final wasn't graded when he said it was going to be however when i told him that I was leaving to go home he graded it for me right then.

Dr. Gurjar is a great teacher. He understands the material he teaches; granted he may not be the most organized. Very smart. If you do the homework he assigns, you'll most likely never get it back, but you'll know what will be on his exams. If you remind him about the exams, you'll have them back within a week.

This man is amazing! He is so helpful! Very Very kind and helpful. I learned a lot! but the only thing is that he needs yto use Rogain Hair regrowth Foam, becuz the dude is only 41 and he is already half bald! No offense! Just use it so you will look younger! He also gives his students lots of goodies (i.e. M&M'S , airheadfs, etc.) He is the man!

Grades fairly unlike others in the engineering department he is a bit hard to understand initially but one gets used to him quickly strongly suggested to bring textbook to his class as his examples are straight from the book particularly helpful just go to his office hours and he will give you a hand

An amazing teacher. Every student in the class starts with 20% of the overall grade cos he gives 10% for attendance & 10% for quizzes for which he gives everyone present in the class 100. He explains everything well & if you get an appintment he will help you up from down under. An awesome teacher overall. I would take him again! Plus he's funny!

At first I thought this guy was going to be really hard, but it turns out that he was really easy. Take his class if you get the chance, his tests are a little harder than the homeworks, but he definitely helps you out when he grades the tests, and if you go see him in his office. A good teacher overall, one of the best on this campus for sure.

This guy is awesome! Anyone who cannot get a B in his class is a retard. I love Dr G - his tests are great and he gave me an 80 on a test I would have graded as 60. TAKE HIM! Sure he's not the most exciting, but he really tries, and he's so helpful. AWESOME!!!
