Shes a very nice woman, but doesnt teach any of the material in class. She does roughly one or two problems at best and tells you to watch videos and teach yourself the rest. I literally am teaching myself from another teachers videos.... wouldnt recommend her not understand all the raves.

Blass takes extra steps to ensure her students success. She translates the material of the textbook with such great ability so that it is made fairly simple to understand, even for those who do not have a proclivity for math. Also, she offered 1 to 1 help, a wealth of supplemental resources, and a review of homework Q's per our request each class

Professor Blass is the best. She gives very clear notes and is always offering to help. There is a lot of hw but It isn't due, its just to help you. she grades very fast and emails back very fast. she also posts practice tests which are very helpful.

Blass has been the best math prof I have yet had. She makes it easier because she understands the subject fully (i dont think all math teachers actually do), takes time to prepare (handouts, online tools, lectures), and cares about her students progress. Take her and pay attention!

Prof Blass provided the best math experience I've had at OCC. Speaks clearly, grades fairly, with partial credit for work. She made Trig understandable and provided tons of extra resources on D2L. She helped me turn my Trig grade (and knowledge around! I wish I had her this semester. Do your homework and you can do well. Graded on 4 tests + final.

Honestly one of the best math teachers I've had so far. Has a definite grade curriculum, and is willing to help students whenever they are stuck on a certain problem. Gets tests graded in a timely fashion and is overall consistent among the quality of her lectures, goes through the basic concepts and questions in depth.

Mrs. Blass was an exceptional math teacher. She's very knowledgeable and experienced in every levels of mathematics. Most notably in my opinion is that she generally cares about students success, often bringing articles and mentioning good habits to absorb the most out of the class. Very logical, excellent teacher, highly recommend!!

This class is not hard at all. She does a great job preparing you and giving you easy notes to successed. It was a bit much to take in the summer because of all the homework problems. Homework is not collected or graded but recommend you do it!

Really liked Mrs. Blass. She's very friendly, she's very willing to help. She wants to see her students succeed and goes out of the way to make that happen. She had an SI session and worked closely with that instructor, had lots of extra handouts and in-class activities, and had lots of resources available on D2L. I'd take her again.

If your not to well at math, take this professor. Her instructions are very clear. While her tests tend to get a bit tough or tricky, nothing on the exam will be a surprise. If you do your homework, you will see it in the exam. Very helpful teacher if your nervous on math.

Her class isn't impossible but I found it difficult.No reviews or practice tests before exams.She likes to throw curve balls on tests. the HW was very stressful.Her notes weren't very good.She did a few examples,then left you to learn the hw yourself. I have always been less than good in math, but this teacher is awesome!!! The homework is stressful sometimes. She tells students the first day that you have to dedicate at least 12 hours a week to math. She is very helpful and explains things until you understand them.

I love having her as a professor!! I hate math and I've never been good at it, probably because I haven't had proper instruction. But she goes through every step and every detail and has cute sayings to help you remember things (like flip the guy and multiply, and FOFO lol) She is a terrific teacher and I recomment you take her class!!!!!

We LUV Mrs. Blass! We took her twice, different classes and her teaching style is nice. She really likes to prepare us for tests. After tests she gives us an answer key the very next day with the grade on it and goes over most common mistakes. She is friendly, helpful and grades reasonably. We definitely recommend her! TAKE HER! I GUARANTEE SUCCESS
