Comment:

Dr Dwyer is so full of knowledge and genuinely cares for the subject and his students. It is obvious that he is really passionate about what he teaches. He will go off on bunny trails that aren't in the book or tested, but are really interesting if you like the subject. However,you can slack if you want to. A wealth of knowledge. Take this class!

Comment:

A very knowledgeable and nice professor,but he is so disorganized and gets easily sidetracked. We didn't get to about half of the syllabus. Its hard to take notes from his scribbles on the board. The paper is easy since you do it with a partner and he keeps letting you rewrite it. A good guy to talk to outside of class, but not a good teacher.

The material was interesting and Dwyer's lectures were informative. However, his disorganization and sole concentration on infant and child psychology ends up screwing you in the end. He crams everything past adolescence into the last few classes, using that material for the final. It's a good class, but it's probably better with another professor.

Dwyer was and still is my favorite at BW! He says hi to me every time he sees me and I took his class a year ago. He knows his stuff, take notes and study the book. If you ask, he is helpful and bring up study guides and he will make one up for you! He is the best!

This man is too damn nice to make grilling remarks about. I skipped one of his exams and he gave me a take home essay that was due in over a week. Go there, enjoy the class, learn about babies. It's very interesting material that we can all benefit from, even if it's boring. Study the book more than your notes. Exams are 90% readings.

Awesome guy. This was one of my favorite classes at BW. He is a bit unorganized and late a lot, but once you get past that, you learn so much and he has a lot of experiences that he can share. Great personality and really cares about students.
