Professor G is back!!! She was a great professor to talk with and even went over my rough drafts when she didn't want to. The best part was that she gave us candy!(Don't expect it though lol.)She is clear in what she wants and will help you if you need it. Anyway, she came out of retirement to come back to her job so she actually wants to teach.

Barbara Griffith is/was my favorite professor. Show up, pay attention, care about your assignments and you've got it made. I made A's on everything even when I think I shouldn't have. I am sad she is retiring! Those who didn't find her to be an engaging and professional teacher probably shouldn't be in college in the first place.

Easiest English Comp teacher. Reading the stories completely and studying review tests is crucial to passing. Essays and exams are ridiculously easy. but she can be a bit of a witch when it comes to explaining things to students, DONT TALK OR TEXT IN CLASS

Prof. G. is a GREAT professor. Reading the stories she assigns and participating in class are essential. Her tests and papers are super easy. I got A's on all my tests and papers yet ended up with a B. (because I missed a few days and didn't use participate much). So be ready to PARTICIPATE. Great Professor! Too bad she is retiring:(

Prof. Griffith explains everything very simply, which might come across as patronizing but is actually really helpful because you always know exactly what to do. She grades fairly easily, I got A's on all my papers (even one I thought was just mediocre). Show up for classes on time and turn in papers when they're due and you'll get a good grade.

I took her in the summer and we had papers due each week. It was not too bad as far as tests but just difficult because I was preoccupied. She really is a good teacher and will do everything she can to help you. Her tests were pretty easy because she prepared you and doesn't come out of left field with anything.

Well.. I failed. Take with a grain of salt I guess but I passed 3 others with 2 a's and a b+ so.. Stay on her good side cause otherwise you could be looking at a very long semester and a fail. Dont really know how I made her mad but attendance might be it. she was horrible

I would not suggest her for a comp class...she is very foggy on assignments, just makes us answer questions from the stories we've read...she likes to tell lame jokes...Im telling you if your paying for classes out of pocket..you will waste your money cuz learning in her class is completely useless.

had prof G for comp I. liked her so much i took her for comp II and humanities the very next semester. she is funny, very nice, and very helpful. she is one of the best teachers at edison and i strong recommend her. if u didnt get an A in her class, u either cant write essays or cant read.

Whoever commented "Snob" below has a serious misconception of Prof. G.. She is the most down to earth professor you will ever meet. Great listener, always available to help students, GIVES you ideas for you paper...etc. Take it from me, I have taken her for Comp 1, Comp 2, & Great Human Questions & aced all 3 classes..all thanks to Prof. G
