Comment:
Prof. Seater was completely unavailable most of the time. She never added a single thought to any discussions and took weeks to answer questions. I felt strongly she had no interest in the class at all.

This is an easy course that doesn't really need a lot of input from prof. Does need to be prompter with grading. I appreciated how she didn't interfere with online discussions because this course needed student discussion, not professor comments.

Expects students to be responsible and pay attention to the text and the readings. After all, this is a required course for majors and should be tough. Too many students in my class expected their hands to be held, but to Prof. Seater's credit, she didn't coddle them. I appreciated her toughness in a course that should be challenging.

Never took part in any online discussions. From approx. middle of class to end was unavailable because she was planning a wedding! She just left the entire class "hanging". Very disappointing. Not good mentor at all.

Took this course on line with Prof. Seater and she was no help whatsoever. It takes her up to 2 weeks to answer a simple or worse, an urgent question. She provides no feedback and takes weeks to grade the work. I do not recommend her for this class at all, this is a difficult class and some help and input would have been greatly appreciated.

Responds to emails with one or two word comments. Not very helpful, and this is a difficult course to begin with, so meaningful dialog would have been appreciated.
