The concepts are pretty easy, but she "teaches" SO MUCH information. She will skip around from topic to topic and assume you know what shes talking about. Make sure you participate in class. if you get on her good side, she will be easier on you

She was an okay teacher.. she was very critical and rude when you didn't do something exactly right. she acted as though we were all musically inclined.. you have to play the piano, recorder, and sing infront of the class. you also have to teach the class twice!

Dr. Memory is very nice, but the amount of time and effort that has to be put into studying and completing out-of-class assignments (e.g. attending concerts) is a bit ridiculous for an elective. The majority of the class made Cs and Ds on her exams and she does not curve the grade. She provides extra credit assignments but they don't help much.

Well Ms. Memory is a very enthusiastic teacher and loves her music and know a great deal of information about what she is teaching. But on the other hand she teaches as though she is talking to one of her friends, and notes are almost impossible to take.Study guides are too broad also, its basically outlining the whole chapter instead of key cncpt

She is very sweet but wayyyyyy too serious about classical music. It is possible to get an A but you have to study A LOT. Tests are 100 questions with listening items on them (you have to hear a piece and know the composer and its title). Don't bother doing honors by contract, she wanted a 10 page paper for a 2 hour class.

Super easy A. Do the outlines for homework and you're in the clear. Outlines take a while but that's the only thing you have to do for the class. Never met a nicer, more enthusiastic lady. Take her over any other professor.
