He was an easy professor. 4 exams and 1 group presentation which was easy and simple. He gives you an outline of what is exactly on the tests. Attendence wasnt mandatory but he did take it randomly. Lectures were powerpoints and are boring but not bad.

He seems like a nice easy-going guy. 2 easy group projects. 1st exam was okay but 2nd exam and final were challenging probably cause people pissed him off and he decided to give tougher exams. He tends to crack jokes but they aren't really funny. He made the class seem like a joke. If you want to learn more about mkt research take another prof.

5 small exams, some of them take home but still hard. Half of the lectures were student presentations. He is so lazy. You will not learn much. If you are an A student, do not take this class, because exams are more about luck and time spent on Google trying to answer his stupid questions than the knowledge. Also, it takes him forever to grade exams

Very easy class...no textbook required. Tests were all multiple choice and not tricky at all. There was one group project which was simple. He also presents the material in a fun way. would take him again.

Great Professor!! 1 midterm, 1 final and 1 group presentation and paper.He explains well and is very friendly and helpful. Exams are a bit tricky but overall a nice person. I wish all the Baruch Professors are friendly like him!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

cont...He does explain items on the slide and gives you examples. He will answer any Q you have, and the jokes only make the class more fun to attend! Would you rather sit in a boring lecture OR in a relaxed, fun atmosphere classroom, where you also learn? If you pick option 2, take this professor, you wont regret!!!

Ok, I do not know what the people prior to me are talking about!! Unclear? Tough grader? He gives you an outline for the exam AND gave us the option to take the final, or just have your mid term grade counted twice! I highly recommend this professor! Brings real life examples to class, yes reads off the slide but whats the big deal?!

Gengler is absolutely unclear when it comes to what he wants written on the midterm or final. He consistently made borderline jokes that made the entire class feel uneasy. He continuously mentioned, "I'm on tenure, they can't do anything to me." Highly unprofessional, teaches directly from the slide. Pointless to attend class.

His slides are strictly from the textbook's publisher and he lectures almost like he didn't read the slides until he got to class. Very vague with the group project/exam but getting a good grade isn't difficult, but his feedback is NOT timely. Also, he's not PC! He actually made a student cry because she didn't speak loudly.

I'm sorry to say that this class was useless. The professor uses slides provided by the textbook's publisher and doesn't contribute anything of value. He just reads from the slides. He discourages questions, and doesn't acknowledge good ideas or comments if they don't agree with his own. I am truly disappointed in this class and professor.

easy class. everything is in the textbook and the material is definitely all common sense. you need to go to class for attendance though, he usually lets you out early. recitation could be a pain though but this lecture is extremely easy.

Good professor, highly recommended. His lectures are boring but he jokes around here and there. Very nice guy and he gives you EXACTLY what you need to study for the exams. Just study about the topics and it will be a easy A. Only 4 exams and no final. There's another guy in the class that helps him take attendance sometimes. He's a definite pick!!

Great professor, his lectures are boring but he does throw in some jokes in between. He's very straightforward and lenient. His exams are easy, he gives you a list on what you need to know, all you got to do is look it over in the textbook and it will be a easy A. Definitely recommended!
