Comment:

Really loves genetics and wants you to too. Explains very well. However it is an hour and fifteen minutes of lecture so it's difficult to pay attention. Posts up notes that you can study from, and problems that you can do to prepare you for the tests. Tests are basically the notes + hw + problems. Make sure you understand the material!

He is the best Professor anyone can ask for. In my entire undergraduate and graduate level, he is the BEST professor I have ever known. Dr. Stark is kind, polite, extremely helpful and undeniably intelligent. It had been my privilege to get him as my professor and advisor. This person has my highest respect.

Dr. S is very kind to me while taking this course. Under his instruction, I can easily understand those important points regarding to molecular biology. And he truly takes care of students, always says "it will be OK" whatever help you need from him. I really like him and BIOL515!

Warmest, kindest professor @ IIT. Although that may not be hard to do, Stark's avid, genuine interest in the welfare of his students is very heartening. Some homework (very easy) and a couple exams (also easy). Brings multimedia to lectures; loves his work. Also a wonderful advisor, and multifaceted (runs the Chic.marathon every year or so).

His tests weren't bad, but contrary to other opinions, I found him rather rude. He actually wonders why people don't come to his class when he doesn't teach at all and just reads off what's on his notes that are already online.

Amazing professor. He is so helpful and all of his notes are online. His tests are easy if you do the suggested problems. He cares about each student and is ALWAYS willing to help. Best prof IIT has! Great lectures and makes adorable jokes. You'll love him!

Very helpful professor. Hard to pay attention in class because it's a little boring but if you study his notes and do the suggested problems you'll do well in class. He also has his doors open all the time incase anyone has questions. He also posts everything online. Great Professor,one of the best!
