BIlly is the kinda guy who really just want's to blow stuff up in the lab. His passion for chemistry is evident and it shows in lecture with plenty of great demonstrations and funny anecdotes. The midterm is super easy, the final is not bad. I don't think he really picks his TAs and they give super hard quizzes. Great guy though, I miss him.

Use clicker, must go to lectures. Lectures were a bit boring but quizzes were fair, only one easy midterm and a fair final. Overall a good prof.

I love this guy! He always does some sort of demonstration in class, and most of which results in loud bang, which makes lecture fun and interesting. Attendance mandatory b/c clicker. 4 quizzes (drop lowest one), 1 midterm and a final. Quizzes are given bi-weekly in discussion (so only mandatory to go to on quiz day) and exams are multiple choice

Do your homework and stay on top of it to pass. You have to study too. Boring lectures but if you don't pay attention it won't make sense.

no reading assigned. but recommend reading textbook because lecture lacks. has iclicker questions one midterm. midterm was quite easy; the average was high 90% quizzes frequently. dependent on TA. will be graded relative to other discussion averages.

Lectures were extremely boring and unhelpful. I would've never gone to class if it weren't for clicker questions. He didn't write his own power points slides, instead used them from other professors, and often found mistakes in them. Spent too much time reading numbers at us off the slides rather than explaining concepts.

Just read the book and do Oasis. His tests were pretty much just following the book and the Sapling homework. If there were't clicker questions, I never would've gone to class. His lectures were very boring and were always irrelevant and made simple things more confusing.

Professor Trogler was really interesting and often trolled us when he did demonstrations. The class wasn't necessarily easy, but he does his best to ensure that everyone understands everything. The quizzes and final were scaled, so I'm sure that helped a lot of grades, and you only need an 87% for an A anyways.

Lectures were interesting when there were demos, but I found myself confused at some points during the lecture. Overall he's a decent teacher. The quizzes and homework are pretty straightforward and the midterms and finals require lots of studying

Really fun lab demonstrations in class! Unfortunately, his slides aren't very helpful for homework or the midterm. Go read the textbook for that. Overall, a very nice professor that is very generous with clicker points. His midterm was pretty straightforward, if not a bit too conceptual.

He is a really nice guy and tries not to bore you in lecture, which you must attend in order to get Iclicker points. The material is difficult and there is a lot of homework which is graded. 2 midterms, 3 quizzes and a final. You can drop either a midterm or all your quizzes and he curved the final exam. This class requires a lot of attention.
