I think it is a really great professor, he is really patient, and hardworking. although every week he just have three 50 minutes class, but he have at least three hours office hours every day, and even Saturday! He grade the homework by himself and he is really a easy grader not only for homework but also for exam. He don't need us to buy textbook.

I took Tucker in the spring & he is adorable! He looks like the guy from Up.. such a cutie bear! He is also super helpful, if you go to office hours he will help you until you understand the material. He is a tough grader though. Study regularly & you should be fine. His test are fair, but don't put off the work. I love him, would take him again :]

One of the most caring and helpful professors. He is readily available to help with any question or homework problem. He has office hours every day and loves it if you visit him often. He will explain material as many times as it takes. He is a hard grader, though. First exam easy, second and third a bit harder. You don?t need the book.

Terrible teacher. He grades all or nothing. If he can't read your handwriting, he will give you a 0 even if you go to office hours and offer to have the ta grade it(he uses a magnifying glass to grade tests). During lecture, he usually goes through one proof the whole time because of mistakes. He plays favorites if you go to office hours

Professor Tucker is one of the best teachers on campus. He's an 80+ beast who is very passionate about teaching and will spend extra time out of his day to make sure you understand. All tests are extremely straight forward, just know your definitions!! I highly reccommend taking this professor before you graduate! I absolutely adore him

I really think people don't give him enough credit. He is old but he is still very passionate about what he teaches. He is a little hard to understand, but go to his office hours because he is very helpful and wants the best for his students. Midterms and finals are straightforward and for the most part easy if you pay attention and go to class.

He expects you to know everything about stats before you start his "basic stats" class. He rambles incoherently about theorems and proofs for the whole class then assigns homework that you can't do unless you go to discussion because his book reads exactly how he speaks...and no clear examples. He gives a template for midterms but it makes NO sense

I just got the template of the midterm and there are no actual problems, just theorems. This guy is the worst. He is too old and he gets lost in the middle of his lectures. Every class is agonizingly terribe as he forgets what variable he's solving for andd no one says anything b/c he can't understand his mistake and/or correct himself.

worst teacher i've ever had and i've only been here a few days. he does not make sense in his lectures and is frequenty wrong. he uses his own textbook which also has errors. he never clears anything up and i don't think he knows how to. he is unbearable and the silence in the room following one of his aimless explanations is deafening. drop!

Mr. Tucker is a nice guy, but he doesn't teach stats like the other professors do. If you are the type that likes to get to know a professor and become a buddy buddy then you might like him. He has no grading scale and will never curve. HW is everyday. This is not an easy stats class. If you are looking for intro to stats, take a diff professor.

You don't have to buy the book but Tucker gets lost on his own problems and redoes them later. He is a nice guy but his grading scale is, he gives you what he thinks you deserve and you don't know until the end of the semester. Nice guy, easy class, scary grading.. go to office hours and ask questions.

Dear god where do I start. I went into this class very optimistically because he seemed to be a very nice and approachable professor. Boy, was I wrong. HORRIBLE TEACHER. Gets lost on his OWN lecture notes. Sits there trying to figure it out for the ENTIRE class. People told me to drop, or I'd fail, and I should've listened. AVOID ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

Worst teacher I ever had!!! I don't even know what grade I'm getting in his class. He loves people who ask questions. What if you understand everything? What if you're too lost to even know what questions to ask? It's unfair grading and I might fail for it... AVOID TUCKER AT ALL COSTS

He's the most unfair professor I ever taken... he doesn't curve the class.. and u don't learn anything from him. And YES, HE WILL FAIL U.. basically, u will wanna stay in the class cuz you won't know ur grade, but DON"T STAY, cuz more than 3 people in my class recieved F.... and there's only like 11 people in the class.. im sure more than half of
