I actually found Prof Ditto to be refreshing from other psych profs. He presented the material in his lectures as though he was conversing with the class. He didn't just read slides like a lot of other profs do. He's very helpful and approachable as well.

Comment:

Nice guy and clear slides. Quite a lot of reading material and emphasis on the small details. There are quizzes that can help boost your mark as long as you do them carefully. Some of his questions can be ambiguous and tricky but that is every psyc class in general.

Comment:

He's well-meaning but not a great prof. He doesn't speak clearly and midway through I decided not to listen to lectures and just use the textbook and lecture slides. If you are good at learning on your own then you can do well in this course. It's not hard material-anyone can understand it. He's sweet and will answer questions during the exam!

This class is so boring, worst Psyc class I've ever taken. Prof. Ditto seems nice and can be quite funny but his lectures are dull and it's difficult to understand the point he's trying to make. Exams are very difficult even though they're MC. Class is recorded which is its only saving grace. Textbook is awfully boring and repetitive.

He is really just an awful prof. The lectures are super boring and difficult to follow. He has trouble getting to the point. He makes you read the book cover-to-cover and it's pretty much the worst textbook I've ever had to read. The exams are difficult and have random questions. This was truly an awful class. Exercise caution.

I think Prof Ditto is a sincere, well-meaning, and intelligent prof. However, he has difficulty speaking clearly and coherently. This class is unnecessarily boring. I think Prof Ditto will improve, but for now his class is not worth taking. Exams are fair but challenging. Textbook was also poor choice.(Health Psychology by Taylor and Sirois)

Blaine Ditto is an underrated prof. He is a really nice guy who sincerely loves what he does and he is always willing to go the extra mile to help his students! He even brought donuts into class a couple times! Though he sometimes goes off into tangents when he lectures he usually makes it to his point eventually. Overall, take his classes!
