Blyhte is a one of a kind teacher that has an immense passion for students, teaching, and literature. Although she can get side tracked at times, her class is always enjoyable.

Comment:

A truly wonderful professor! As this was my first semester in college she really made it fun and interesting despite how nervous I felt. Shes everything one can look for in a professor, shes caring , respected, and always shows that she wants her students to pass. However, what she primarily does is group projects , so please be aware of that!

Professor tellefsen was one of my best professors Ive had all semester! Shes super sweet and bright(: she makes the class fun. I really enjoyed doing the essays because they were about things I actually enjoyed like music,movies, etc. there is quite a bit of reading but the books are really good! I would definitely recommend taking this class! :D

Professor Tellefsen's course was one of the best english courses i've ever taken, she gives freedom to write about topics YOU want to talk about & although she makes you work in group projects you usually get a good grade if you put at least an ounce of effort. 5 Major essays, drafts give you 5% boost of final grade & quizzes on readings so READ!!

10/10 would take again. Textbook used, group projects in class, five major papers. Prof is extremely caring, funny, relatable, and connects with her students. If you have the chance, take her- you won't regret it.

By far one of the greatest professors I ever had. Her happiness and energy is so contagious to the entire class. She is very lenient and a fair grader. She was even willing to wait a whole hour after class for me when I was late to finals day because of traffic. She is an extremely compassionate and caring professor and I strongly recommend her.

I never rate professors on here, so this is a big deal. I gotta say Dr Blythe is one of the best English teachers that I have taken. English is my hardest class to pass and she made this class so much fun. You write about pop culture related topics, so if you are not a good writer, she is a great start into strengthening your writing skills.

4 major papers, but she prepares you for them with group work. She's super funny, helpful, and smart. The reading is super interesting and the papers were really cool, though a lot of work. She is a tough grader, but the further the class goes, the better you understand what she's looking for in a paper. Great professor overall!

We love Blythe! Such a fun professor! She is super energetic, loud, and funny. She's quite the liberal feminist and doesn't really try to hide it, but in a good way! Papers and quizzes aren't hard, you just have to put the time into reading! Overall, pretty easy A, MAYBE a B if you really struggle with writing. Would definitely recommend.

Blyth is a fun gal. She loves the reading material, especially modernism, and the discussions we had in class were fantastic. Even though it was 7 am, she kept the energy up. Group projects, but its just finding quotes and makes posters in class, easy peasy. Met some cool people and had great debates and analysis about the reading. Will miss

Tellefsen is quite odd yet lovely, almost a young teenager in an older woman's body. I enjoyed her but the class material was not my cup of tea. Reading and talking about pop culture was dreadful but did make the essays really easy to write about. If you love movies, music, and culture then this is the class for you.

Shes amazing & so easy to talk to. She actually cares about her students and really wants you to actually learn. If you dont like group projects then I wouldnt recommend because the majority of class work is mostly group projects. Easy pass

I took Tellefsen Spring Semester and she was honestly amazing, if I could take her again I would. Shes understanding, outgoing, bubbly and cares about you. If you do the homework, which are short, and read the books given youll pass. 4 papers in total and there are quizzes given for the books you read but there are no exams. Highly recommend her!

It wasn't the most difficult class, but I did not enjoy it. I don't really feel like I improved as a student taking her. The topics were cool sometimes, but it felt like a drag to show up to her class. She's not a very understanding person either. She's not willing to make exceptions.

Blythe is an amazing teacher! She does like to ramble, but she often rambles about something that directly relates to the content of the class. Which in my case, helped me to remember it even though its been a year since I took Amer Lit 221 with her. She is very intelligent and witty. She can have too much wit at times haha however she is great!

She was a very nice and cool prof. Her homework was minor, some group work, 2-3 presentations, 2-4 in class essays and 2 outside class essays. My problem is that she would not explain the topic of the essays too good and the structure of the essays, class mates would have trouble, we had to ask lots of questions, btw no extra credit.

Prof. Tellesfen is pure awesomeness. Her Lectures? Amazing and keeps you interested in class! Overall? Her class, personality, homework, etc. A+++! We need more English professors like Ms. T! Anyone looking for a great time and to actually learn, take her. I recommend her to all! You will enjoy it. READ YOUR BOOK! It'll help with your papers!
