I had Bonnie quite some time ago. She inspired me both personally and professionally!! Bonnie Seegmiller is an excellent professor! She makes herself available to those that wish to learn! She is a wealth of knowledge! Absorb all that you can from her! You will be grateful that you did!

What's been portrayed as her rudeness, is actually her deep respect for students who WANT to learn. Students' rudeness, arriving late, leaving early, talking, cell use, all disruptive to those trying to learn. These neg. ratings are very unfair/biased. Easy class. She gives multiple choice tests and plenty of extra credit. She makes mistakes but she makes up for it by give you extra points on the exams. She has a big class. The final is optional. She explains clearly but you have to go to her class, the exams have things that she explains and are not on the book.

If Child development is a requirement for you do me a favor...TAKE IT ON PERMIT ELSEWHERE. Not to rain on her parade but she's been in her field too long and does not understand that we are new to this. She teaches as though we're her collegues which for some situations is good but psych is demanding you have to free your mind and believe ****!

She is an old school type professor, she knows her stuff, but her teaching skills are somehow very tough. I liked her as a person. The class is big + uniterested students don't help. A lot of readings, make sure you prepare b4 class. She makes mistakes but she makes up for them. Im happy with my A grade

She is not that bad!! I found her very eccentric!, she snows her stuff. she IS more old school type!! she makes some mistakes but she will defenitely assume the responsability of them.. ther class tend to be pretty big!! added to that belated and uninterested students makes the the class somewhat annoing... If you need an A in sciences get her!

But after messing up the second exam--causing us to wait half an hour for her to figure out her mistakes (she messed up on the first too) I've lost all respect for her. To make it worst was her lame come back of extra bonus points to our grades and weird calculations caused everyone's grades to inflate into a cr

I took her class 3 semesters ago and I didn't find her to be rude like others have said. She's an older prof. so she may be a bit wacky at times, but she was never rude. Her exams weren't hard if you read the text and studied your notes, but it did seem like a lot of material.

This professor has a horrible attitude! She will not give make ups for any excuse. I couldn't take a test b/c I hurt my hand and she said it's not her problem! Do not take this professor! Not only that she sent a girl away b/c her cell rang, and she stops class to watch someone come in late. She is mean and she messedup on all 3 of the tests we had

This is a Developmental Psych class.All Health & Bio majors need it.I think she knows this and is on her power trip.Agree with all said about her here.Regret not dropping out sooner.Exams are serious killer cos the wording is passive/unclear.Studied for 2 wks for midterm.Have no problem appealing to Dept. re higher grade.Won't take it lying down!!

I don't know how this woman has been permitted to "teach" and "advise" students for as long as she has. She's so rude with her holier than thou attitude. She expects 100% from her students but doesn’t offer the same 100% in return. Avoid her at all costs.

I was "supposed" to graduate this May, and I only need one more class to graduate, hers, however, she felt my reasoning for taking her class wasn't good enough so I won't be permitted to graduate on time. I have to wait until the summer semester in order to finish.
