Comment:
Had him as my undergrad advisor, a very decent and interesting fellow truly interested in reason and his student's success. He's not a pop star, but I actually learned a few concepts from him that I still find useful as an adult in other fields. An all around great guy.

Had him for Phil of Mind, very interesting guy, has a lot of stories and seems very knowledgable about the field. 2 papers graded very fairly (so long as you make a coherent argument w/o major errors you get an A) Said the final would be easy, turned out to be 4 essay questions and 2 of them were about barely discussed material, but otherwise fine

Interesting lectures with a touch of humor covering difficult material. Small classroom setting. Paper assignments really made you delve into the readings and gain a deeper perspective. I really enjoyed the class and think he's a great professor.

Comment:
Philo. should not be taught in a big lecture hall as this course normally is at the 101 level. Not really an arena where the professor can instill a lot of interest in the subject matter to students. He was a decent professor under the circumstances.
