He excepted you to knows everything, his exam is tough and had nothing to do with his lecture nor the homework. I don't recommend you to take it if you are not ME major.

Comment:

The class materiel is not extremely difficult but he makes it feel like a 300-400 level class, he gets mad if you have your phone out in class or to even use a tablet for notes, he is a very monotone speaker so it makes it hard to follow his long lectures. He is a very smart prof. with this material but not able to teach it very well.

Comment:

Monotone lectures, if you can stay awake in class. Benefits to watch recorded lectures at home on 1.5 speed, so you can't fall asleep. In the design project, required to do his job by reviewing for ABET requirements. Is book smart, not real-world or industry workplace smart. If someone else ever teaches this course, take them instead.

He's a really good guy and really smart, but this class is just downright hard. I took it over a normal semester and for some reason it felt like a summer semester. The lectures were all very intensive, so be prepared to take in a lot of info each lecture. The exams are difficult and the final project is a killer. Prepare to work hard, tough class.

One of the hardest classes i have taken. Prof wasn't the best as it is his lowest level class. FORMULAS. Basically 10000 formulas. Textbook is needed but you can get a pdf of it online... good luck if you take it :P

The class is extremely difficult & he does not go easy but he does everything in his power to prepare you if you are willing to put in the effort. He records the lectures &uses note handouts which is great & he is very approachable if you have questions. The homework will take up an excessive amount of time but do it if you can. Just dont use chegg

This class is hard. But, he is a good teacher. The only bad part was the design lab at the end. It was very unorganized and rushed, right before the final. I recommend Sangeorzan for this class, just be prepared to study.

One of the coolest professors ive had so far. I ended up doing about average in his class but that was all on me since the material was a bit difficult and I didnt study as hard as I should have. He is a great professor, and is very helpful. Curves his exams and overall grade, and his exams are straight forward (exactly what he says they will be)

Tough class it is a continuation of EGR250 with the same book nonetheless. The tests are long but with no surprises if you understand the homework and the class examples. The final is a bit tricky in the sense that he wants to see if you can think out of the box a bit. Not hard just need to put 2 and 2 together. Funny guy too. Easily approachable.

This professor is really good at explaining the material even though thermo is a hard course. The only thing I didn't like was that the final was way harder than the tests, and the labs took ridiculous amount of time. But he curved final grade so that was a plus.

Nothing bad to say about him. Class was easy, with a fairly large curve. Homework was hard but once you figure it out the quiz/test questions come pretty much straight off of the homework.. The lab reports are the ONLY bad thing about this class..

what is up with all these great comments? class was ridiculous. cannot apply anything to the real world. the final was equivalent to being beat with a rubber hose. i would not recommend this guy. too bad he's the only one that teaches this required class. thanks everyone "clap - clap - clap"

Thermodynamics is not an easy class, but this professor makes this pretty straight forward. For each question on the quiz you can go back and find almost the same one in the homework. This final was 3/4 was from the last chapters 6 and 8, and 1/3 from the old stuff. Overall he is an awesome profesor, always willing to help and know his stuff

I'm not sure about all the good comments. Sure, he is a pretty good teacher, but the material is impossible, labs are terrible and consume so much time and effort, quizzes are blatantly ridiculous. This guy is nice, but VERY hard, make no mistake about it. NO CURVE also? I'm not sure why?

The final was rediculous and I really didn't like the hardcore quizes he gave.The better you do on the quizes the better your course grade.I did well on the mid term and decent on the final but my grade sucked beacuse I had bad quiz scores.Quizes arfe worth 35% of your grade.That's to much.I would not tak him again.
