Professor Kean is awesome! His class is a bit difficult, but he does everything he can to help his students. Reaching him outside of class is a no go but if you see him before or after class he will make time to meet with you. Attendance wasn't mandatory but he did take it (maybe for extra credit). Gave many "pop" quizes but they were all open note

Pleasant, easy-going guy and an excellent teacher. The textbook is boring, but he gives interesting lectures because he has travelled around the world. One of the most intelligent and unique professors I have met. Easy class: two exams (m/c with short essays) and a short book report.

I looked forward to every class. He's just one of those guys who has literally been around the world. You have to respect him. He's always got a good story to tell. If I had a party, I'd invite him.
