Comment:

Shes absolutely atrocious at assigning tasks and projects and will leave you confused on what you need to do. Did an entire group project by myself meant for 5 people and still got a D - despite showing up everyday. Totally not stimulating and made me want to change my major. Get a different professor, for your own sake.

I absolutely loved her. The class was very easy if you showed up and did the work. She knows how to makes jokes and she listens to your feedback if there is any. There was 2 in class exams and a take home essay as the 3rd. The final was a group project and you only needed to present 1 speech throughout the whole semester. Take her class if you can!

No blackboard shell (if you miss notes they're unavailable), tough grader, does not allow cell phone to even be visible, and work was piled on in large towards the end of the semester. Allowed student to take the exam after the answers were went over in class (approx. 3w after test) and let another take in her office during class (unsupervised).

Very nice teacher, very hyper and expressive. Read what she tells you to read, put time into your speeches and you'll pass

She seemed very nice and easy in the first half of the semester. Gave a lot of assignments towards the end of the semester which was difficult to keep up with taking other classes also. She grades tough, also.

She was a good teacher and even though I only got a D+ she suggested I retake her because she said I would definitely get a B the next time because I passed all my projects but failed every test but I didn't retake her because Financial Aid wouldn't cover it

Prof. O'connor is always smiling and really gets into her class. Very bubbly personality but also stern cause she wants your attention. So dont be rude in her class cuz she will let you know. Tests are normal and presentations are important be prepared for 3 presentations. They are not hard just takes work

Super easy class with Prof. O'Connor! She has a great personality and always brings a smile to class. All she asks is that you show up, do your projects, and be there for other presenters. How hard is that? She hands out the projects weeks in advance. There's only one group project which is the final. The most enjoyable class all semester.

Professor O'connor was a great teacher. However, she has tendencies to be extremely happy one minute and then snap at you the next. Don't buy her textbook as you don't need it, she claimed that we needed it all semester, yet I didn't buy it and finished with a B+. Also, be prepared to decode her horrific handwriting for her "notes".

She is very disorganized. Her notes are unclear. She was so obnoxious and teaches so enthusiastically that it is difficult to focus on what she is teaching. Tests have questions that she barely addressed and consist of questions that are all her opinion. The book is useless and will not help you with studying. Don't ask questions or interrupt!

She is very moody and rude. She only gives you a good grade if she likes you. Very short with you when you don't agree with her. I would not recommend her. Her notes are very confusing and you never use you're textbook.

If you don't like group projects, make sure to take the class with three or more friends. Professor is frightening and moody, so sit far away from her. It's an easy A, but I didn't enjoy being in the same room as her. She would sometimes personally attack students and invoke personal vendettas against them, which many found unacceptable

She is a very nice lady. I would not recommend buying the textbook because I never touched it. She is very disorganized and you present 2 individual speeches and 1 group speech, and 3 or 4 tests and an essay. She was also very rude to a disabled girl in our class. Would not recommend

Always late. Always. I took her for the summer course so not only was she late but her "10 min breaks" can last up to half an hour, i don't even know what takes her so long she just leaves and doesnt come back for a while. the class wasnt as bad as i expected from comm. her tests are okay but you have to study. she was always in a good mood though

O'Connor is on point! She demands 100% from you. Its the cutting edge between success and failure in the real world. She makes you want to be a better student. If you can pass her class with a good grade then you know you are ready for higher learning. All those with complaints should evaluate themselves as students first. We are in college people!

Very moody. Most of the time the class was interesting. Her tests are very easy but speeches are difficult depending on how she feels about you. Got A's on all the tests and ended up with a C- in the class because of speeches (which myself and my classmates thought were well done). AVOID

Professor O'Connor was very intensive in her presentations and class was interesting. Unfortunately, she blew hot and cold and you never knew what mood she was in. Speech grading was brutal and most students dreaded getting up to present their speech.
