I took this class over the summer. Now even though I liked archaeology this class was pretty hard. The grade basically is quizzes, tests, and papers. If you are not good at tests I would not recommend. It's not an easy A either.

The material and workload for this class is manageable but the clarity and feedback from this professor is absolutely horrendous! It is borderline unprofessional. don't mind the previous outdated ratings!

To be honest, I took this class because he had a chili pepper but he is not even that hot! He was a little awkward but a good teacher. The information was very interesting but he was kind of monotone and boring at times but the great information kept me awake! Tests weren't too hard but he curved very graciously. Overall, decent teacher!

I thought this was goin 2 b tough & I was right. Well, it seems tough but not really (Got an A, btw). You'll learn a lot from him. & the answer to the question if he's married, yes he is... TO ME (jk). Why is he not married anyway? Man! I love the way he carries himself in class. I have a night class with him and he really takes my sleepiness off.

Exams are straightforward. Map quiz is extremely easy. One midterm which is multiple choice and he gives you the essay questions ahead of time. Final is same as the midterm and it is not cumulative. 10 pg paper is easy because he gives you the topic and has the books waiting for you in the library. Overall great professor that communicates clearly.

He is a good teacher. He helps his students. If you want to take his class you have to start studying from the first day of class to get a good grade. There are 5 take home esaays.3 tests for the semestwer. 6 quizes he will drop the bad one.You have to read each chapter before going to class.There are 25 chapters to read. some short some long.

This has so far been the best professor I have had. His lectures are very interesting and fun. He tries to communicate with the class when he gives examples. Oh, and the examples are very clear too. What I like about his class is that he gives power point presentations. Quizes are easy. Test too.

GREAT PROFESSOR. Give you study to study and prepare for exam, and most of the material on well organized powerpoit notes. Very helpful and willing to work with you outside of class, and wants all his students to get good grades. As long as you show effort, you will get an A, even on resrch paper
