Professor Shubin, is pretty awesome. SHe made my semester easy. There were 2 tests, if you do your homework and study based of homework, easy A+ Weekly sufficient amount of homework. Grades pretty easy. Explains the general idea.

She's a super nice lady! I struggled in the beginning, but she gave many chances for us to improve our grade. Her lectures are pretty good and she knows how to teach. If you attend class every day and do well on the homework, and you will be in good shape.

Professor Shubin is a very nice lady. Just do your work and you'll most likely get an A. Overall fairly easy course. The only down side is that lectures can be kind of boring. The good thing is that we only had to meet once a week because it was a hybrid course. Overall Prof. Shubin is a vary nice caring professor that grades easily.

The first two or three weeks of the semester were hard. I did not thought I was going to fail the class. Dr. Shubin got me through the projects. I learned some useful things and got an A in the class.

Prof Shubin will work for you if you are struggling. Do not worry take the course and go to her after class and speak with her and you should be fine. I got an A- by going to her office house and her helping me with my work. Very easy course. Her teaching does get very boring so beware.

Pros: Very nice and very chill. Cons: Somewhat confusing and disorganized lectures. She would often confuse herself while trying to solve problems, and even when she did know, it was quite difficult to see how one step lead to another. Not the worst choice for a Calc professor, but not the best, either. Take if there's no better choice.

Shubin is a very nice and sympathetic professor if she notices that you care about learning the material. However, learning in this class is quite problematic. Since the first lectures, which were mainly introductions to Calc, I could see myself falling behind if I didn't pursue the textbook and tutors. Be ready if this is your first calc class ...

Dr Shubin is kind, sincere, and empathetic. She is interested in her student's health/wellbeing. I did learn in quite a bit. I suggest that everyone goes to her office hours or tries to get in touch with her because she is willing to clarify any questions on math that you might have. She understands that math anxiety is a real problem for students

The class was mostly online but she took the time to real be sure that students were aware that assignments were going to be do and always made sure class had a great atmosphere. She was very helpful and care for her students to pass. have great respect and was a fun class to take as well as interaction and different aspect of mathmetics.

Sweet lady who genuinely cares about her students. No tests, midterm, and the final was an essay using the ideas taught in her class. She sometimes struggles explaining things but is easy to communicate w/ and replies to emails quickly. It's the math class you probably always wanted in HS. - a little math, a little civics, and some projects

I really enjoyed Professor Shubin's class. She teaches a little fast, but will go over it again if asked. If you are still confused, go to her office hours! It makes a huge difference. Also, her study guides are pretty close to the test. You can pass the class if you really put in the effort and study hard, she really cares about her students.
