I enjoyed Dr. Swanson's class! At times, Reacting to the Past seemed pointless and difficult, but it was also interesting! I enjoyed the summer reading, and the paper on that was an easy A if you turned in a rough draft (you get corrections back before the final copy is due). All of his feedback on assignments is helpful as well!

Easy class, not there to trip you up. His lectures and tests aren't hard, you get an index card as a cheat sheet. Homework for every class but it doesn't take longer than 20 minutes.

Unless you are a math major DONT TAKE HIM! He only likes math majors and has little inside jokes with them and COMPARES non math major test scores to math major test scores which is very inappropriate. He is rude and treats nonmajors like they are stupid. The class wasnt hard but HE is unbareable. You stay until the very last second of EVERY CLASS!

I figured I would fail this course, but Prof Swanson made it very easy to understand the material and I recieved a B. Review sessions were a big help. Take this course!

Great prof. I was scared to death to take math class, but he is super helpful. class moves very fast but if you need anyhelp at all, he will do anything he can to make the matrial understandable

Good teacher and is very excited about what he does. Practice problems are not worth doing and gives out assignments way in advice so you know what you have to do. Do the homework probs and make your notecard organized with all info and you'll be fine for the exam and get a good grade.

Gives homework every class and it is impossible to do without a tutor. Test are not to hard, he holds review sessions and lets you use a note card. Just do all the homework, make good note cards on the test and you'll be fine.

Dr. Swanson is a great teacher. He explains everything clearly. He is well organized and knows what he is talking about. He holds review sessions for his tests that are a great help for the tests. I would take him for any math class.

Wonderful professor! He is always willing to help out, he holds review sessions before all of his tests, and he returns tests and homework in a timely fashio. He managed to make the stats class fun- Something I hardly thought possible.
