Comment:

Professor Abbott is a great professor. The class is not difficult to pass but you must show up to class in order to get a good grade. The exams are heavy on lecture material because there are examples that she includes that were mentioned in class.

3 tests and 2 projects. The tests are based solely off her lectures so if you don't take notes you won't pass and she doesn't use powerpoints. She made the tests way more difficult than they had to be and then she doesn't use the + or - system. I finished with 79% but got a C. Don't take this class!! It ruined my semester GPA. Take anyone else!!

DO NOT TAKE unless you're fine with a 50 question scantron where HALF of it is True/False. 3 exams(2 midterms 1 final). All points are weighed equally. 1 Project point 1 exam point. Extremy specific questions in TRUE/FALSE. Gets off topic and rants, yet says that everything covered in the class is on the test. WOULD NOT TAKE AGAIN.

She is very nice and funny at times. Just make sure you go to class so you won't miss the notes because all the test are based on the notes that she gives you. Overall, a nice and easy class.

Such a GREAT teacher! Everything is lecture based, so make sure you attend class. But on the plus side, you do NOT have to waste your money buying the book :) She is HILARIOUS and makes class fun to attend! Easy tests as long as you take great notes.

Great attitude about class and life. She gets injured a lot and climbs mountains and is knowledgeable about things. Very clear and uses good visual aids. Don't need book if you come to class. Not a hard class at all, recommend!!!

MUST TAKE! She's hilarious. She's very energetic and makes the material easy to learn and remember. She brings in things so you can see what she's talking about. Do not buy the textbook, just write down everything she says. She doesn't use Powerpoints but she does upload them online for extra reference and notes. Easy B for sure.

Professor Abbott is an excellent teacher. She's hilarious and if you've read anything about her, very inspirational. The class itself is entirely comprised of her spoken lectures, no powerpoints. Just take good notes and you will be totally fine. Do NOT buy the book. Seriously. The project is simple and her tests are straight from lecture.

Nice instructor but no power points and no help what so ever. You either need to be an excellent note taker or you need to memorize her book to get an A. She grades the assignments very generously but she nails you with the final exam.

Fair, opinionated, and weird in an innocent, goofy way. SHe cares about her students, not as much as the grade but with us bettering ourselves to be healthy and active. Believes in what she teaches. Keeps it interesting. If you take notes you'll do just fine. Exams are straight forward, but overwhelming with all that you are being tested on.

How to pass her class guide: Buy a tape-recorder, next slap that thing down the desk during her lectures, take nap, after her lectures take notes of everything she said since it will be in the exam. Final step, earn A. Informative class, I like.

Cindy is really funny and tells a bunch of stories. Her projects and homework were really easy. DON'T BUY THE BOOK. We never used it. Your notes are your study guide so listen all the time and write things down.

This class is no joke. She might be a cool person with lots of energy and all, but her method of testing is really odd. If you read past reviews, they say to pay attention when you come to class. PLEASE DO!!! Every single thing she says - write it down because you'll be tested on it. Some stuff she says doesn't even pertain to the material. No good

cindy is the best teacher i have ever had. she was very helpful and a little nutty but very very awesome and her husband is a "stud muffin" ;) the class is easy if you take notes but you can always ask her questions and she will help you pass.

Dr. Cindy Abbot is one of the best Health Science professors at CSUF. She genuinely cares about YOUR HEALTH. She is not there to just teach you, she is there to help you make the RIGHT decisions in life about YOUR health. EVERYONE SHOULD TAKE HER!

This teacher was a little nutty but really friendly and wanted to help. She doesn't take role and doesn't miss class. She doesn't round your grade so if you have a 89.75... you have a B. DO NOT BUY THE BOOK if you come to class and somewhat pay attention you are going to do well in her class.
