Comment:
Hard to believe a professor teaching global Environmental change would hand out over 300 pages of info to over 80 students during the semester. The course consists of a ridiculous amount of information that he expects you to retain for a comprhensive final. The TA left midway through the semester and it left an unorganized professor realing. BAD!

Olsen is great. He lives for environmental science. Tests are extremely easy. All of the material you need to know he repeats over and over. Great teacher. Go to class and stay awake, you'll get an A.

If it weren't for the TA I wouldn't have passed. Lectures are useless because they're so boring and unorganized, way too much material is covered in 1 semester. The tests are very hard and impossible to prepare for but the paper is a grade booster. overall- don't take this class.

Don't take as sci. elective. Final consisted of 5 essays w/ 2 chosen. 13 Chap. of info. & 5 pages of random quesitons, 1/2 were not even included in exam. Frazzled man, thankful for the great T.A. U could to to all classes, study for days and still do horribly on this mans final. Exams should be challenging not deceitful.

Comment:
REALLY NICE guy, hes kind of goes on and on about the information thinking you can understand him and all that scientific language - hes just really enthusiastic about what he teaches. Hes super nice and is really helpful - you can fail the tests and still pass if you go to class because of in class group work. Really nice professor.
