I took Moore a few years ago and sadly I see she isn't doing much better now. I was a 4.0 student until I took her class. She seemed to grade based on how well she liked her students. Friends of mine who wrote poor papers got better grades than mine. We were all confused by it. Don't take her!

Teacher had three classes in a row that were Engl 1B. By the time she had the last English class she was confused. She is a very good teacher. Graded fairly and had a good handle on the noise in the room. Bottom line is she is a good professor and probably the only 1B professor at the school.

Moore was VERY unhelpful and unclear. Instead of helping students, she would make fun of them for not understanding. She complained every day and if you didn't share her opinion on things, you were wrong. She was often proven wrong and wouldn't admit it. I would never take her again, and I have no idea how she is still teaching.

She often talks about her being a feminist,anti-war, and not a fan of the southern states. As a male military service member from the south, I felt discriminated against. The only grades in the class are 3 papers and your comp book and she never tells you what she is looking for.When asked if she would read a practice essay she said no.Do not take!

Coming into the class, I had high hopes for how fun things were going to be. She completely ruined the class for me. She's moody...so some days she's happy, other days she just wants to pick a fight. She also is unclear about what she wants. I'm appalled at how awful she is at all-around teaching. I tried to be forgiving, but she's too awful.

we didnt use our sentence book much...save the money. she skipped class almost as much as i did this semester. in class wants everyone to read her mind. not so specific about assignments. I didnt like her at first, it was really boring but is better now that we are coming to an end. I would take her again, i feel like i know what she wants now!
