He's a great adviser but an awful teacher. Unclear with not only what he wants for homework, but also if something he causally mentions at random even IS homework. Gives all or nothing grade for handwritten code. Lots of stress for far too little actual learning. Artificially difficult through improper teaching instead of challenging material.

Condescending, patronizing, insulting. Unwilling to assist students. Unclear expectations, inconsistent grading. Late by 10-45 minutes to every class except 1. Did 5 example problems on the board the entire semester and made errors in each problem. Students would learn more if he didn't talk and gave you the 1.5 hrs to read the book. True garbage.

Reads a lot from lecture slides and explains things very theoretically rather than teaching how to actually code. Lecture slides are pretty much copied and pasted from the textbook. He has a very monotone teaching style. Homework, labs and exams are very focused on writing actual code, which you don't really learn about in class.

Best educator I ever studied under. Inspired me to work harder and challenged me. After moving on from QC squared I went to WPI. I tutored students who had taken core classes at wpi that I had taken with prof. Bigonahey.

In my opinion, he's a great teacher. Sure, you'll get a 42 or a 53 on his tests, but you can still get an A in the class. He does this so you'll try harder. It works. You'll end up teaching yourself most of the material, but that's just engineering. You'll do fine as long as you put in a solid effort. Man up, you can do it.

Awful. Spends a lot of class time bragging about the engineering program. Is not clear about homework. Grades horribly. Has you manually write programs, pencil and paper, for tests. Mess up something written this way that you could easily catch with a compiler and fix, you get 0 points on that question. Condescending when you make minor errors.

Do yourself a huge favor and avoid him at all costs! I'm sure he's a great guy but he's one of the worst professors I've ever had. He gives no partial credit and marks the whole question wrong if you get one small thing wrong (on any assignment/test).

Took Differential Equations with this Professor despite being advised by my peers to avoid him. Needless to say the rumors were true. The Professor never issues home and relies heavily on MIT course ware to lecture what he is supposed to lecture us on. His tests emphasize memorization and rote learning as opposed to creativity and conceptual grasp.

This professor is one of the best professor i ever had. Many kids are complaining about he is not teaching, but in a real world, who is going to teach you anything step by step. If you are truly love the subject, you will develop a self study skill and this professor is for you. Would like to take all the courses with him. Great personality!

Professor Dadbeh he is a very nice caring man. I don't know why there are so many kids out there don't like him. Yes, In his class you are not expecting him to babysit you. You have to be motivated ad start learning the material by yourself. If you show the improvement of your tests through the semester, you will get a fair grade which you deserved

He is very specific about what he requires. there is no partial credit on homework or tests and it must be neat but he is very clear about this. He is trying to prepare you for being out in the world where there is no partial credit. He doesn't curve the tests but at the end he adds a steep curve to your final grade.

He's an awful teacher who reads from the book, nit picks answers to an extreme, and cares more about following a grading structure than actual learning. Even if you get an answer correct, you might still lose all of your points because you wrote the symbols for a unit instead of the unit's full name

All he does is read straight from the book in his lecture, rarely answers student questions and when he does, he does so sarcastically and rudely. He puts in no effort to help the students. Regardless of how badly students do, he will not even put a slight curve on tests and a grades in an excessively harsh manner. Never would take again.

Does not like to answer questions. Expects you to just instantly grasp the material. Does not like to explain himself or elaborate. Test grading is harsh and unfair. Prefers to speak about prestigious 4 year schools than actually teaching the material. Treats people like dirt. I highly recommend avoiding this professor if possible.

Majority of the class was spent talking about Rice and Harvard and how exceptional his engineering program is at QCC. There was no transparency is grading. Each lecture was reminiscent of groundhogs day. Homework programs were correct, repeated same results for tests and now were wrong... Skirts any attempts to clarify key points. Pass on this.

It's because of teachers like Dadbeh that the U.S does poorly in science and engineering compared to other countries and why students drop out of S.T.E.M For the love of science and country, we need knowledgeable people to teach. One of the most terrible teachers I've ever met.

Extremely outdated teaching methodology. Does not know how to teach! I seriously doubt he understands anything he tries to teach. His calculus 3 class was terrible! He basically points at the book the whole semester (that's how he explains stuff). He himself does not understand calc 3; if he did he would have been able to explain concepts clearly.
