You learn so much from her, she keeps the class light and fun because she TRULY cares about everyone. She is understanding of all situations as long as they are communicated with her.

Comment:

Professor Halamka truly is one of the few great instructors at El Camino College. She truly is there for the students. Her class is easy and very clear. Homework easy! (online) Exam one in class exam, one take home exam and the final is take home.

Dr Halamka is a very nice lady. i enjoy coming to her class. she is very smart and full of knowledge. if you pay attention, take notes, and keep up with the class there will be no way for you to fail. Highly recommended!

THIS PROFESSOR WAS SOMEWHAT FUNNY, BUT I DEFINITELY DID NOT LIKE HER STYLE OF TEACHING..ONE CLASS SESSION IS SPENT ON ONE TOPIC OR IF MAYBE TWO..NEXT THING YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A TEST THE FOLLOWING WEEK..TEST ARE HARD AND GRADES ON A CURVE WHICH CAN END UP HURTING CERTAIN STUDENTS.

Mrs. Halamka has to be one of the best professors/teachers a student can ask for. I took her Law 5 class several years ago at ECC. She was friendly, caring and welcomed anybody to drop by her class to get a taste of Law 5. I have never had a harder working and more energetic teacher in high school or college like her. To be a lawyer is an honor

This teacher is funny, but I don't like her teaching style. She talks too much on useless thing. When she explains on one question, it will take 10-15 minutes, and end the class very late. Also her explain is not clear. Tests are hard and have many long questions (more than 100 questions). 3 exams total and curve on test.

Love this teacher.. I was on the edge about going into law.. But she is the reason why im going to law school. Love her class and stories. She was a bit of a slacker in coming to school. But I really came out with so much more knowledge then i could ever imagined. Remember to read the chapters and your good to go..

she does have a joyful attitude everytime she walks into the class. she keeps us awake; she doesnt make law seem boring. but the textbook we used was extremley difficult 2 understand. and she realli emphasises on the book. we HAVE to read it. she tries but the class is still very very hard!!!

haha, she does remind me of stuart's mom from madtv, very energetic. I really liked Halamka, she kept a boring subject interesting and she always came to class with a very joyful attitude. I would definately take another law class with her if I had to.

She is really nice and helpful. Her exams are tough, but the class is pretty much fun. Only the problem is that classmates ask bunch of irrelevant questions and disturb you, since the subject is interesting. what you need to do is read the book and do HW

Great teacher she sparked my interest in LAW so much I am declaring my major this coming semester into Pre-Law! She tends to curve the exams really good so the average rate is not to bad. Has a good sense of humor and will keep you focused into the class discussion.

Easy class- only had 1 in house test, everything else take home. Found out the day of the Final that I had been dropped along with 7 others, although I didn't have any absences. She's a very dingy lady. Had to prove that I deserved my A. Make sure you hold on to all your homework and tests.

Dagmar was an extraordinary teacher! At first her sense of humor catches you off guard, but it loosens the tone. She sent me a letter at the end of the semester saying I did the best in all of her classes, and that really made me feel good. She's friendly and I would love to take another class with her.

I'm willing to switch majors just from the one semester I took with her. She's AWESOME. She knows her materials, very prepared and gives great examples of the law. She just needs a new assistant in grading and keeping those test papers together.
