Comment:
Anyone who tells you that 105A is a fun class is lying, it is extremely difficult and probably the hardest class I ever took in my life. He lectures with the assumption that you already know all the math which sucks because most students don't. Homework is insanely hard, don't think you can finish without TA help. Easily spend 10+ hours/week on HW.

He is a very good professor. His homeworks were very difficult and time consuming (7-10 hours a week). If you go to his OH, he will explain things further.

He is a brilliant professor and very easy to understand. He makes physics fun because he loves physics too. Make sure to study last years quizzes and spend lots of time creating a study sheet, it will pay off!

Dubin is a pretty good physics professor, though his lectures are sometimes boring especially at 8am. but yea, his quizzes aren't too bad. tip: review his old quizzes from the previous quarter, some questions are from there and sometimes unchanged.

He's a clear lecturer. Weekly quizzes cover material in book and lecture, best 8 out of 10. Does 5 interactive demos over the course worth a total of 5% of your grade. Assigns 10 activphysics HW worth 10%. Good class, but 8am is too early for physics.

He seems to have a good personaility. Just don't ask a dumb question in class. Some of the stuff was not crystal clear. A couple of problems on quizes were ambigous, but most were fine. Avrg grade in final was 54%.
