I loved taking this class! Some of the games we played were a bit silly, especially as an older student, but definitely a great professor! Just make sure to use flashcards when you're studying the terms and definitions and you will do fine in the class.

Amazing teacher! I learned so much being in his class and I even took him again for his critical writing class. If you have the chance to take him, do it! His classes fill up pretty quickly--probably because everyone realizes he's a far better teacher than Lynn Lerych whos ego is about as vast as space.

I had a lot of fun taking Cavin's class. The atmosphere was very low key and we all had a lot of fun together. The material is straight forward and there are no surprises on tests. I learned a lot about grammar rules and sentence structure, however, I don't think he challenged me to be a better writer. That being said, the class was a breeze.
