A simply amazing professor. If you pay good attention in class, and take even half decent notes, there is no way you'll fail. She provides so many resources for you to understand the material better, as well as she offers extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. If I could have her as my permanent professor for all subjects, I would.

Comment:

I took Personal Finance online with her; it was just okay. Did not communicate with her much. Just did the work and that was that. Required to buy access code to do the work. Quizzes and tests are open-notes; it's hard to fail. There's a powerpoint on a textbook topic of your choice, and a couple of discussion posts. It was an OK experience.

teacher is very rude and sarcastic towards her students. Quizzes every week. Goes over the material 10 minutes before the period ends due to speaking on life experiences most of the time. She also has very terrible hand writing. Final is based on things we did not go over during class at all.

Darleen is okay, she violated on the midterm but bi-gons be bi-gons. shes a good prof , take her youll pass but the papers she has you do are a lot of work almost like a project but you do learn some decent stuff about personal finance so take on your own risk

A great professor who knows exactly what shes talking about. She doesnt use power points and just states everything off the top of her head. Many people get confused with that style but just ask questions and she will always explain throughly & in detail. Everyday was fun in class due to her hilarious and layed back personality. My Fav class !

awesome teacher. keeps her lectures interesting. goes off track a bit but will give you all info you need. gives two tests- midterm and final- in class. rest are take home quizzes (takes top 4 grade). There is one speech. Loved her and Im taking her again!

For starters, somehow her lessons turn into story time about herself. She will spend most of her time talking about her life than actually teaching the class. She is also a very fast teacher, you have to keep up with her if not you'll definitely get lost. Overall her class is not boring but she's very cocky and tends to rush her lessons.

Amazing teacher! Just be prepared to work for your grade. She gives a lot of take home quizzes and the only in class test we have are the midterm and final. Should be an easy A if you put in the effort.

This professor is horrible don't take her. She's unclear and rude. She's not patient and has horrible hand writing, literally you can barely understand What she writes on the board, her spelling is ridiculous. She talks to much about her personal life and her children and goes of topic almost all the time. Work wasn't hard but she wasn't clear.

She gives quizzes every week, but keep in mind that they are only 10 questions to complete in 2 hours. Very generous with deadlines, but you have to make them each week, which isn't so bad considering that the quizzes are what's mandatory. I do like how she gets the class to interact with each other a bit. Overall a great professor!

She seems to always get off topic and talks too much about her personal life and only takes a few minutes to explain the lectures. I didn't find her helpful at ALL! the only good thing i can honestly say about her is that her class lesson aren't extremely boring. But i would not recommend to take her.

I took this class online. Make sure you answer the questions to the discussion post every week. The test are multiple choice and are based off the notes from the powerpoint and textbook. At the end you have to do a powerpoint based on an topic she has discussed. Easy A!!

I absolutely loved this class! Great professor, always emails you back and helps you when you need it. If you want to improve your financial state take this class! I have learned so many great things that will carry on with me for a lifetime.

loved this teacher, she's funny, she gets the point across, the material is properly presented. Just don't be lazy and listen to what she's saying. I did notice that she tends to favorite the guys in the class, but that's not to say that if your a girl she's going to fail you, it just means that she seems to be nicer to the guys. highly recommend

I would not recommend taking this class. For a introduction class SO MUCH work, hard test, big project and you have to present twice during the semester.... which is just unenjoyable !

i was in love with her lol. never missed a day of her class. she was strict sort of. she tolerated no nonsense. kept class entertaining. told a lot of stories and jokes kept students attention. very helpful. answered many questions, meets with you outside of class if needed. easy class for me. also helped with advisory. i definitely recommend her!!

Professor Braunshweiger is a very nice professor. She has many interesting stories as well as an interesting life and she is really funny. I get your jokes professor, I do lol. As long as you do your work and study you will do great. She does give partial credit and is a very fair grader. I would definitely reccomend her!

she comes off as a hard teacher but she is really fun and easy going. as long as you pay attention and do the few homeworks she gives and participate you will do good.
