Boring but very informational. The notes during class are very broad and short. Be sure to read the textbook because his notes arent close to enough for test studying. His study guides arent even study guides, just terms to be familiar with. Read textbook and youll be fine. Only 3 essays to do

Good teacher. Go to class and take good notes and you should be fine. Test are better easy and he gives study guides for the test. Not too much homework. You have write a least 2 papers, the third one is optional. I went to class each time and did the first two papers, got an A on those papers so I didnt do the last one. Got an A in the class.

You will have to write 3 papers but the outlines are very clear. He is the dean of the history department so history majors you should take him!!

Really good professor, he makes everything clear for tests and papers. His tests are easy too, you have an essay every test, but he tells you the topics ahead of time. Attendance is mandatory though, he will drop you if you don't show up 3 times. Other than that he's great. Definitely take him

he's simply amazing one of the best history teachers. 3 papers but you only have to do 2 . 3 exams and you're done. the only thing I didn't like was you have to read. but if you come to class everyday and take notes and study his study guide and try to focus more on the essay part on the exam you really don't need to read the book

I'm not a history buff so I was concerned going into this class. Its lecture heavy but Dr. Lehman keeps it going. Attendance isn't 100% necessary but he's very interactive and it helps when learning the material. Exams are multiple choice and essay question. Know the material and you won't have a problem

I came in to Professor Lehman's class thinking it was going to be easy peasy (and an easy A). However, he definitely makes you work hard to earn your A. I found that I didn't really use the book and relied heavily on my notes. I would say that attendance is very important for your grade since you aren't graded on much. Overall, good class.

Lectures whole class but not monotone, provides notes on board, 2 of 3 HW essays required, 3 tests (40 multiple choice, 1 essay question) study guide has 3 potential essay questions and 2 are on the test to choose from. Prepare and do well on the essays and you will do well in the class. Great at explaining the info so you understand it well.

Most people were bored of his long lectures but I found them quite informational! Tests are not bad if you STUDY and if you PREPARE for your essays. 'A' grade is not handed to you, you earn it. Don't be afraid to approach him after class, for advice on how to improve your work. By the end of the semester, you definitely have learned a lot!
