He spent way too much time on unrelated personal anecdotes, and not enough on teaching actual material. And the material he did teach is very basic. If you have any prior knowledge about the subject you probably won't learn much. He's a nice man, but I wouldn't recommend the class. Check your tests if you do because some of his answers are wrong.

Absolutely fantastic teacher! We missed a whole section because we ran out of time.. but even on days that I really don't want to go to class I go to his because it is actually entertaining!

Lecture is really easy to understand. test are the exact opposite. He tries to trick you like no other on the test. Uses true/false and multiple choice that r just impossible to remember

Marriage was one of my favorite classes I took. He told so many interesting stories to keep the class interesting and would show cartoon jokes that pertained to what we were discussing. His tests were kind of tricky in some aspects but there would be questions that would make you laugh. I absolutely enjoyed his class! Stover is an awesome professor!

Stove is by far the best professor I have ever had. He is super smart and enthusiastic and I actually ENJOYED going to his class, in fact, I looked forward to it. This guy is so cool, take Courtship and Marraige, you won't regret it.
