One of the best professors Ive had this semester. She genuinely cares about her students and wants your opinions on everything. She wont make you take notes in this class but she wants you to participate and honestly its such a great class! Would highly recommend taking it.

Has the perfect amount of assignments. You will definitely never feel over worked. Will still learn a lot. Textbook is expensive, unless you buy an older version. Assignments are simple and straightforward. Just complete assignments on time and you should be fine.

If you are curious about becoming a teacher, take her! She is very helpful and will inform you so much about this career area. You really will learn so much from her. She knows how to keep your attention during class and will genuinely want to get to know you. Class is an easy A grade as long as you participate and go to class.

Comment:

I got a 98% in this class, and I am not that smart. All this class requires of you is to do your homework. I got 100 on the only exam from the entire semester. The book is necessary in order to complete the assignments. Put in a good amount of work and you can easily get an A in this class. She is not a tough grader whatsoever.

The class wasn't that difficult but it was very unorganized, which is not good for an online class. The book is required for assignments, so get ready to read. Online forum discussions are required. There was minimal contact from the instructor and there was no grading breakdown in the syllabus.

The class format is really easy. No final exam. Just a final project. There is a midterm but it isn't difficult at all. The hardest part about this class is the assignments can seem unorganized at times but it's a good trade-off since the class is pretty chill in general. the book is required for assignments and the project.

She wasn't terrible. Very nice, but her class was NOT organized which is very difficult for an online class. She had multiple assignments in titanium that were not listed on her syllabus and she did not update it even after I brought it to her attention. Some assignments were a bit abstract and off topic which felt like busy work. Just Okay.

Dr. Ambrosetti makes class super fun and interesting. Although the course sounds like it will be dull, she connects all of the topics to her own experiences and makes it relevant to us. She is just an overall amazing instructor and want to have her again soon!

I took her online class during winter intersession which required a lot of reading and writing. The book was very boring. She wanted you to take 5 to 6 hours on each module and there were two modules due a week. Expect to write a 5 to 7 page final. I felt like I devoted more time to this class online than a regular class.

Best professor I have ever had CSUF so far. She makes the class extremely interesting and is always willing to help to make sure you get a good grade. Definitely take this professor!

I liked the class, but the textbook was boring. The midterm was difficult and the flash cards she had us make were a waste of time. I enjoyed some of the assignments, especially the ones where we got to watch films. I'm just glad I passed.

Took this class online fairly easy. There is an assignment every week, Reading Responses are kind of hard she expects a lot of writing but there is leeway because she lets you pick the headings. The quickwrites were very easy and there was very little discussion. Midterm was multiple choice and Final was a project. Responds quick to email.

Grades on participation in class and takes points off if you miss a lecture which I think is really unnecessary unless you like torturing your students. I turned in all my assignments and passed my exam/final with good grades, but still ended up with a B+ because she marked me down for not participating enough in class. Waste of my time.

Took this as an online class during the summer. Class was totally chill. There were assignments due every week but as long as you stay up on the reading your fine. She graded fast and responded fast to e-mail. I would definitely recommend her.

Professor Ambrosetti really knows how to keep the class interesting. If you want to really learn about adolescents take her; she's interesting, thought provoking, and makes class fun.
