She literally does not teach anything, and when she does it doesn't make sense. The amount of assignments is REDICULOUS! I should be sending my tuition check to google for answering all my questions. She actually yelled at us like 5 year olds then whispered under her breath after sitting down in lab. Disrespectful emails. AWFUL, I repeat AWFUL!

Never thought I would get through this class. The book has an online homework with quizzes that take HOURS! If you don't take the time to do them and do well on them it will kill your grade. I hated that big papers relied heavily on one or more lab partners. Must be dedicated to get the grade you want!!!

Comment:

Pros: -Always there to help upon requested. -Very knowledgeable in the field of chemistry, there was never a question she couldn't answer. Cons: -Lectures were dry, unorganized, and confusing, -She's too intelligent to be a professor, I don't think she acknowledged that we didn't have the knowledge she has but I think she would be a superb tutor.

She is not helpful. This is just her job to teach, not her passion or even interest, and it is obvious. She hates the class just as much as the students hate the subject material. I do not recommend her. If there is anyone else available to take for this class besides her, pursue it. Heads up fellow classmates, avoid her at all costs!

Be ready to teach yourself. She is completely unorganized, and can barely explain what the topics are. You basically have to beg for help, and when you do ask for help, she gets cocky. Better buy the book because that's your only teacher.

Her lectures are impossible to follow and she rarely covers what you need to know for the homework. She expects you to learn everything from simply reading the chapters. Be prepared to ignore other classes to do 70 page homework assignments. Despite this class being developed for Health majors, she wastes time teaching things you don't need to know

She knows what she is talking about. Very nice woman and helpful, just don't act like you know more than she does because you don't. Come to class read the book and do your work and you will be fine. Wasn't looking forward to the class but now Im glad I had it.

She expects this class to be your #1 priority, but for some this class is an elective. She is nice, but kinda hard. As long as you do the all the work you will be fine. She is a little ditzy but overall a good teacher.

Buckman is NOT an easy teacher! if you are ready to teach yourself by the book every day and have no free weekends because you're constantly doing homework, then take her. She made my first semester way more stressful than it had to be. Horrrrrrible teacher.

This class is NOT easy. Pretty much you will be teaching yourself from the book over the weekend. This class will overwhelm you and take up your time. If you ask for help,well..she's not going to explain & make you look dumb. She's cool as a person, but not as a teacher. Thou you do have a lot of assignments to help get your grade up.

Mrs. B as we call her is a great teacher of science. She evidently enjoys the subject, willing to help all students especially the ones who are really committed. I hated chemistry, still do! But, she made it interesting. At times, her assignments were vague and she veers off topic consistently but still a great teacher.

Wonderfull woman, teacher, and advisor. With a degree in chemistry and her knowledge in science she has faith in her students and will help them any way possible. If you are smart you will take her class if you have the option. It was hard for the first semester but it made the rest of my days easier.
