Comment:

Very involved teacher. Sure, he sends you random emails about things you don't necessarily need to know about, but it's better than no emails at all- which is how some online professors work. He is always willing to help and if you do the homework assignments, you'll pass the class. Nice guy, good class. I recommend him.

Comment:

Prior to this class, I had never taken an online class before and I hate math. This class was great, I got like an A+ in the class. Homework is tedious since I didnt know how to do excel, but berg is super helpful

Comment:

Stats is hard for most people. Took online section. Berg sucks at relating, and even if you ask specific questions, he gives you a lot of fluff. Spams your inbox with "updates" about his life. TRIES to be funny, give him a point for that. If you struggle with math, don't take this class online, you will struggle to learn from Berg.

He is a friendly and funny professor. He is always busy helping the world become a better place, but he will drop everything to help you if you need help. His exams are extremely difficult, but he curves them. You can get "Cs" on all of your exams, but do well on all the assignments and still get an "A" for the course. Easy to get an "A".

Took this online and it is a very easy course. Great and very helpful professor. You need the book. Exams are online and are not difficult at all. Homework is a little tedious but easy to crank out in a few hours. Take it.

I took this online and passed it with flying colors. Homework assignments and exams are easy. Only bad thing about him is that he emails and spams your inbox about nonsense and he can talk on about nothing in those emails.

Do the all the homework and you will be good. The test are hard the questions are mainly about vocab. not so much the math part. I got about D and F on the test but I did all of the homework so I end up with an B.

PRofessor Berg has been on of the most helpful teachers i have had. I took stats online and ended up getting a 69 % in the class but he gave me a B-. His tests are super easy and as long as you do the homework, you'll be fine. I thoroughly enjoyed this class and I am thinking about taking methods online with him as well.

He's a very helpful professor but the class could be a bit more organized. He attempts to give us practice test but they don't relate to anything we've learned. The actual test is much more difficult.Getting an A is posssible but it takes a lot of work.I wish the professor would concentrate more on the class than his trips outside of the classroom.

I took this class online.The professor is nice,answers emails right away, and tries to be helpful.The problem is that he chooses to give instructions mainly through email and NOT the blackboard.His notes don't relate to the tests. No doubt that he is a nice person but not a good instructor.

I was nervous about taking stats & even more so about taking it online, but Dr. Berg got me through it & I earned an A. He responds to emails quickly & is available for office hours to help you; he is an extremely helpful & knowledgeable professor. Thanks, Dr. Berg! BTW, I definitely needed the book; I cannot imagine passing the class without it.

I also took this class during the intersession and had very little trouble with the material covered. Dr. Berg covers everything you will need to do well on the tests in the various handouts and emails. Become familiar with Microsoft Excel and the ABCalc program he provides to you. There is almost no need for the textbook except for the homework.

I took this class over the internet during intersession. I have to say if you have taken any stats before this class will be a breeze. The tests are mostly definitions with some calculations. As long as you complete the homework modules you will be well prepared for the test. Berg is extremely helpful and answers questions day or night.

Dr. Berg was really helpful. Some of his tests are pretty hard if you are not really good at math but he is always there if you have any questions or if you need another way of studying..he gives you really good ideas on how to study to pass the course.
