If you must take a class with Donna Meek, dont have it be on a daily schedule. if you you have her 3 times or twice a week all you will do is watch good movies and just write about them. she will return your papers extremely messy, you wont know what to fix. I feel as though she grades papers on her preference instead of if they are done right

Donna Meek is an excellent "Dionysian/Apollonian" Professor -- Both sides making themselves obvious right off the bat. She'll Make you extremely uncomfortable the first day -- you'll see, but her attitude borders on delightfully zany and comically OCD. Call her goddess when you want a special favor, and keep an open mind -- two thumbs up.

Text book freak. If your essay wasnt Hacker(the text book used) friendly, even if very good, dont expect to get a good grade.nice, goofy, crazy, but not helpful. hard grader. Watched 4 movies with 4 essays. American History X,the big easy, Witness, and Blade Runner. The only good thing i got from her class was being able to watch American History X

pretty hard to rate Donna. On one hand she is totaly out there and crazy, but on the other hand she is an excelent writer and editor. She gave lots of her time to helping students improve their essays. Ease is a tricky issue. if you want a B- this class is a breeze, But expect to bust your hide for an A. overall, she is more than qualified.

I honestly cannot believe how bad a teacher Donna Meek is. I had her my first quarter of my first year and I HATED IT! She relates EVERYTHING to food, doesnt stay on topic and expects you to already know what shes talking about during a lecture. She is very critical of the MLA format. I do not recommend her!

Worse teacher I have EVER had. Learned NOTHING, her grading was complete BS. Looking at her was like looking into an eclipse. Wouldnt answer questions, we did nothing just watched 4 movies and had to hear her rampble on about them. She wouldnt let us even grade her at the end of the quarter. DO NOT TAKE HER EVEN AS A LAST RESORT.

EASY BUT BAD! watched 3 R rated movies containing violence, nudity,& language & wrote papers on them. that was it. very pointless. learned little. i love english but hated her class. teacher was very "out there." kinda hippie-ish. different. i got a an A but i would certainly recommend a different teacher for english 101. DON'T take her!!!

I had a horrible experience in her class. I did not learn a thing, she goes on random rants that have nothing to do with the class. Taking a class with Meek is a waste of your time, you have to make your papers PERFECT in order to get a decent grade, and even if you try your hardest it doesnt do you any good. Her final is hard. DONT TAKE!

The teacher is fun and interesting. The class moves along slowly and all your points are from essays. Many students dont take the class seriously because it seems easy but then score poorly on the essays. Pay attention to what she says and apply it to your essays. She gives plenty of opportunities with her individual reviews.

Very fun and interesting teacher. class work is easy, essays are easy as long as you dont wait for the last minute. Grades papers pretty fairly. SHows some interesting movies. She has some very weird things about her including calling herself the goddess and so on...but it makes the class a little more interesting.

I dunno what everybody's on about. She does not play favorites, and grades by the quality of your work, not the quality of your personality. Gives great input/advice to make your writing better. I was homeschooled, never written an essay before I took her class, she helped me immensely. Awesome teacher! I loved her lively and fun class!
