Part of our grade was based off of participation. She would call on people to answer questions in class, and would grant participation points as a result. If you had your hand up to answer, and didn't get called on, you would not receive points. Therefore, I earned a B+ because she did not call on me. As the Dean, she wouldnt let me challenge

Such an amazing teacher, very knowledgable. She will go over the main points of the textbook and develop them. She will answer any kind of question you have and is very available for her students.

Extremely engaging lecturer. Knows her stuff and is always professional. Cracks a few jokes every now and then. Tests are verbatim what she taught, quizzes are all about where countries are, and extra credit assignment bumped me up about 10% on final grade. Very helpful if you approach her outside of class. Kind of favors Model UN students. Easy A.

Really good lecturer, she knows her stuff. But sadly, it is true that she does favor her Model UN students, and will only call on them during class and then reward them with tons on extra credit points at the end of the quarter. I tried to talk to her about an exam and she said she didn't have time for me. Also, she requires 92% for an A grade.

Extremely proffessional, can see why she is the dean! I learned so much from her. 100% and beyond satisfied...never have worked as hard for any class but it was very much worth it.

I attened a panel she moderated. Dr. Ensalasco, Dr Halabi and Dr. Slim were all knowledgeable and professional. Schlagheck was arrogant and welf-promoting, her usual self. There is no reason for it.

Definitely one of the best professors I've ever had. She makes the material interesting, she involves her students in class discussion instead of just lecturing, and she is an easy grader.

I can't fathom what folks who took this class & complain are talking about. If you need extra credit at all in this class, you aren't lifting a finger to pass it. She gives you everything (including the terms & concepts on each test). You also get map quizzes, & she gives you the map! She doesn't dock attendance points for missed class. EASY A!
