Enjoyed her class. She is a very caring person and is easy to approach if you are confused. I appreciate her and the class. I also liked how she made me feel like she kept an eye out for me and always made sure I was doing okay.

she will tell you to buy an expensive textbook and it was never used at all. She did not show up to class couple times without emailing us. She always came in late. not organized at all.

I had her for several classes, not by choice. It took her half a semester to provide any feedback for lesson plans, and got upset with the entire class for doing them incorrectly. Often showed up late for class, a few no shows, and just not an approachable person. I think she is smart, just not a good teacher. Her heart is not in it.

this was my favorite class this semester! every week you do a project and have to write up a lesson plan for it (this is a WAC course) she can be a little unclear about what she wants sometimes, so make sure you ask questions!

Out of all my classes last semester, Dr. Tuman's class was the only one I looked forward to. The discussions were relevant and engaging. There was a bit of reading to do, but all of it was much more interesting than some dry textbook reading.

there isn't too much homework in this class until the end of the semester... a lot of work is done in class, but she can be a little unclear of what she expects at times. the information taught in this class is useful, but i honestly never opened a textbook, so you really do not need them

Donna Tuman is the best professor I have ever had. Period. Only a complete idiot who had no business in the art world and teaching it would see it any other way. She teaches with passion from her love of art and seeing it passed on to the next generation. I hope that I can one day be 1/10th the educator she is with any where near the success.

The content of this class is extremely applicable to the field, however, Dr. Tuman needs to improve the flow of the class. She knows exactly what she expects of the students but does not clearly share that until the end of the course. Every other student who has taken her feels the same way. She is a great prof. when she actually shows up.

She in never on time but gives us dirty looks for being late.She make the students buy too many books and never refers to them.However expects us to journal about an unreasonable amount of reading.BUT when she shares her own knowledge and experiences its all worth wild.Her classes are hard but you will learn and be prepared.

She is a wonderful Prof. She really knows her stuff and will certainly prepare you to become an art educator. Be warned, she takes your work seriously so don't slack off...and make sure you go to class...she def takes that into account when she does the grading. overall, one of the better profs I have had at post.

very sweet ladfy, understanding, free spirted, not really a good use in time though, when your in the classroom you kind of feel as though a lot of your time is being wasted, but an easy A if you do just do your 2 or 3 reports and are sweet to her.

Hor-ri-ble professor. Very unhelpful and NEVER available to her students!!! If you want a question answered it's best to ask the TA. Her stupid facial expressions and annoying voice are reason enough to hate her.
