I thought Prof Adams was awesome! Unfortunately, he is retiring this year so nobody else will get the opportunity to take him. Not an easy class, but he is a very good teacher! Thank you Prof. Adams.

Took him for finite and statistics, BEST professor ever. He's clear with lectures and provides help if you ask for it. He allows note cards on quiz for stats class only. He really knows his math. Recommend doing all homework for the practice, paying attention in class is important, and ask questions when needed. Challenging, but no reason to fail.

Very straight forward and easy to understand. Requires TI-83/84. He will explain the statistic formulas both manual and on the calculator. Weekly quizzes. Keep over 80% (which is really easy) and you will have no final.

He is nice. He assign home work but it's not graded. Quizzes are 100% of your grade. Final is comprehensive does not give any extra credit or work. If you have an 80% in the class you don't have to take the final. If your grade is lower than 80% he drops your two lowest test scores. Class dynamics are horrible.

I wouldn't recommend taking this class if you aren't strong at math to begin with. I did not like how he would lecture on completely new material THEN have a quiz based on the previous week's material. His class caused me more anxiety than it actually benefitted me.

This was the best professor i have ever taken at this school! (besides my speech prof) Extremely easy to follow and very approachable! If i have to take more math classes, I will take his class every opportunity i can. Just show up take the weekly quizzes and put in effort and you'll pass. If you maintain a B by the final, you don't have to take it

Probably the best professor in the math department. i took math 1500 and easily recieved a B. You take a quiz each week and theres HW assigned just to prepare you for the quizzes. You dont have to take the final if you have a B average in the class. Highly recommend this class!!!

Great Teacher. Unique math class- most of grade based on weekly quizzes... don't miss any and be ready for every one. The game is trying to get an 80% or greater grade average at the end so that you can opt out of taking the cumulative final. A bit challenging but if you put in the work you should do fine. The Tutoring Center helped out plenty!

Excellent professor who knows his material. Eager to make sure everyone understands. If you do the homework, you should do just fine on the weekly quizzes. You don't have to turn in homework, but I can't imagine passing without it. If you have a B after all 10 quizzes, you don't have to take the final. Study & do homework and it's a piece of cake.

Two thumbs up! I took Finite and Stats with him. I hate word problems,so I didn't expect to do good. However, I enjoyed both classes.(Finite is more challenging than Stats)Do your homework, and you'll be prepared for his weekly quizzes. NOTHING CONFUSING about that. He will help you! Adams is an excellent prof with great attitude. Fast 3 hrs class.

I have to agree, this professor rushes through material! I'm no math whiz and taking this 3 hour night class was quite difficult! Weekly quizzes are based on the lesson taught the week before at the end of class. On top of that, the quizzes on the previous week's material are handed out AFTER you have learned the current week's lesson!! CONFUSING!!

Man does he fly through stuff. People have tried to get him to slow down and go over more problems and examples and he just wants to keep on "schedule". So you best plan on some self teaching/tutoring with this guy. This guy would be good to take for a refresher course in statistics.

prof. Adams is a great teacher! He tries to help a much as he can, he won't move on until the entire class is clear on the problem. There are approximately 10 quizes, and no hw! (but i would suggest doing the hw anyway). He is a great math teacher!!
