Didn't really like him. He wasn't clear on what was on tests, we had to take notes if he ever put anything on the board and hope he wouldn't throw something else on the test that he hardly talked about. Super boring and not very helpful. Oh and don't get caught with your "texter" or you'll be his focus of attention the rest of the semester.

HE ASSIGNS YOU ALL SPEECH TOPICS! that should be enough to steer you away..They are all about things he thinks teens should know about. Like oil, global warming, population, etc. Grading is dumb because you get a letter grade off for going OVER the time limit. Speeches are roughly 6-8 mins long. Not incredibly hard. Definately passable, but not fun

If you follow his simple outline for giving speeches it should be an easy class to pass BUT he's pushing an agenda. Your speech topics are limited to "going green" & economics. I'm also mad that I bought the textbook. It's an unbound book that you have to supply your own binder for (& the school doesnt buy back)& the only time I needed it was final

Very controlling person, he picks your topic for you. He's very opinionated & sees himself as an expert on everything! Your opinion will be wrong & he will debate it!

pessimistic and negative. assigns your speech topics, which are about things affecting the world. So it's difficult to speak about something you are not interested in. Lectures are extremely boring! letter grade off if you are under or over time. difficult to get an A. I Recommend a different teacher, there are easier ones! This is NOT easy.

Theatre 110 is not a class I would recommend if you dont like reading. You do a lot of reading, and he makes you go see 4 plays throughout the course of the semester and write papers about each one. The writing isnt bad, the reading is mandatory or you will fail. He's a nice guy, very politically open and maybe somewhat pushy about his beliefs.

it's not so hard. pay attention to class, take good notes, go and watch play and you can do really well in class. He discussed lot in class and I like it because we didn't have many writing assignments. quize and tests are really easy, haven't study still did really well in class.

He expects a lot of work from you. We had to see 4 plays during the semester which was a lot of time. He never actually gives you any paperwork. He says everthing in class and expects you to know and remember it. We had to write a 2 pg play too. He was nice but doesn't let you goof off. He talked a lot about the oil crisis...a lot.

There's a lot of reading involved, but the plays are usually really good. As long as you read and go see plays, it's a very easy class. He's a nice guy but likes to go off on tangents a lot, though, which can get a little obnoxious.

Lots of plays, some good and some bad unless you are a theatre major. No syllabi, must write notes to keep up on tests. Essay testing and definitions a must. Overall cool guy though and very helpful if you have a tough time with attendance.

picks the subject on which the speeches will be given on, very political and pessimistic about the future of the world and lets the students know. most of the speeches have to cover topics like peak oil, global warming, and growing population problems. if given the chance I would not take any of his classes again.

Awesome teacher if you like theatre.He has high expectations, but is very nice and helpful if you talk to him outside class.Respects your opinions even if he disagrees.His lectures can get boring, but he is very funny most of the time.
