Take her online for Micro 3150. Trust me and you will thank me later. Easy "A". You will bust your tail in the lab but not the lecture. She is an easy grader.

Comment:

Don't need the textbook especially for $400! Print out the slides and test banks and you will be solid. She is very friendly but can single people out during class. She is very against cellphone use so don't sit in the front if you like to be on your phone. Tests aren't too bad as long as you have the test banks and memorize them.

Dr. Santos is rude. She told me I should consider dropping her online course when my internet went out ONCE (bc of TWC, not my fault) and suggested I take my 2 y/o son to the library to do hw... in Pembroke when I live 45 mins away. Doesn't answer calls even during office hours OR her email; makes you message through canvas. Don't take her.

Her tests are so long and cover a lot of material. she says that the learning objectives are the test but thats not true you also need to read the book and pay attention to pictures of powerpoints. She wants you to do good but you REALLY have to work for it. lab is not bad and she dose give extra credit She's pretty rude sometimes too

For lecture she teaches really well and makes the difficult material easier to understand but tests are naturally hard because it IS microbiology. For lab, she makes it easy and fun, just make sure to read the manual.

I registered for this class and was excited to learn about micro, but after taking it with Dr. Santos I was extremely discouraged. She says to just study the objectives, but her tests did not reflect the objectives she gave us. I studied my butt off for her class and my test scores did not reflect that. Take this course with someone else. :(

this course was said to be hard but she made the labs interesting but for online it was hard work you have to participate, lab was a little confusing. i think she is one of those professors who over think things and when you ask her a question she seems a little disoriented.

This class in interesting and she is a great professor, however, you MUST read the book to get a decent grade! If you don't read on your own you are in trouble when it comes to the tests. I was afraid of micro and I loved it!
