Read, read, read!!! He goes off on tangents but other than that he was a good teacher. He does about 4 tests and little to no homework. SHOW UP TO EVERY CLASS & READ: Easy A. He also calls his students out if they haven't read so to keep from getting embarrassed READ!

Can be a tough class. If you are disciplined and not a whiner, you will be okay. He is very smart, so don't try to BS him. One night after class my battery was dead. He took time to help me, all the time telling me about Sam Houston and his importance in the Texas Revolution.Great guy, fine teacher.

Mr.Caussey is amazing. He tends to get off subject and repeat himself occasionally but he's very passionate and funny. You have to read the chapters and be there on review day to pass the tests. Do the book report. He gives a lot of extra credit and makes history interesting and fun :) TAKE THIS CLASS!

Mr. Caussey is warm hearted and very kind. During class, yes he gets off subject, but always with the intention to make connections with the text or thought. His analagies actually help me understand the text better. I love this class, I wish he taught beyond 1302. Like any other class you are expected to read and respect his position.

Mr.Caussey is a great teacher! He does tend to get off subject, but he's very passionate about what he lectures about. Very funny, great personality. He really tries to connect with his students. Read the chapters, pay attention to the review, do the book report and easy extra credit and you'll make an A :)

Best teacher ever. He doesn't teach in class but he does tell you to read. I never read but I still passed the class. I guess I'm a natural. Easy class if you do your extra credit, and his extra credit isn't hard. One simple question and gives you a whole day to do it.

This teacher does not teach. He tells you if you read the chapters you can get an A on the test, however hardly anyone in the whole class made an A even if they read the chapters. The test grade can only be changed by racking up extra credit points to add to your test grade to pass. The reviews were very broad.If you want stress out take him!

The guy is very smart, and has some..."interesting" lectures, however, he doesn't lecture on subject. He requires you to read the chapters and remember small details from those chapters to get a passing grade on the tests. If you don't like reading, this class is not for you. If you like reading history text books, this is an easy A.

Mr Caussey is a great and informative professor! He makes the course fun with the stories he tells and he is very knowledgeable of what he teaches. He also gives a lot of advise to the gentlemen in the room. I highly recommend him. You will be very satisfied.

In high school mostly coaches taught history...boring. But caussey's class was actually fun. He tells so many wonderful stories, and he absolutely loves this country. Read the chapters, do book report, attend class will get you an A. Read the paper, often current events pop quiz
