She's a sweet lady! You can tell she knows her material well. There are a bunch of group presentations throughout the semester. Her criteria for a few projects/presentations isn't always clear so don't hesitate to ask her questions. She's approachable and is willing to give you help.

Parentela is a sweet funny lady. Don't be fooled, she knows a lot about transportation engineering. If you have a question, be clear and concise and she will give you an answer or at least show you where to look. Took her for all of my transportation classes and learned a lot.

Professor Parentela is a very nice professor, and she knows transportation engineering. CE 325 is basically an introduction to some aspects of transportation engineering, and she tries to simplify it as much as possible. At times, she would bring up random topics to encourage participation and capture students' attention. Good prof! Pay attention!

I really feel sorry for you if you have to take her. Her Teaching? Um..... WHAT TEACHING!?! She gives no partial credit on exams or quizes b/c she probably doesn't know how to actually do the problems herself so she just looks at the answers. Never ask her what's on the exam b/c she will just list every chapter in the book!

Very nice teacher but she doesn't know how to teach. She is also the advisor for ALL undergrat Engineering students. She gives you a lot of homeworks. Her lectures are all posted on beachboard, print it out and bing to class. Do all the hw. Her test are hard but similar to hw & lecture. She have straight curve A 90, B 80 ETC.

Fair, Hard to earn an "A". The tests similar like homework. Need to go class because tests come from the lectures. At her office a lot, more than office hour required so good to ask to ask questions, if don’t understand.

Very nice, but inexperienced teacher. She doesn't seem to know a lot about comp. programing. Gets nervous and confused. Has extreemly odd, disorganized expectations of the class. At times, seems to think helping you is giving away information.
