Comment:

Dr. Taylor is very caring and extremely nice and always available, but this class... I was an RN in the Air Force for 6 years and the stuff he teaches is honestly too in-depth and not useful when it comes to real world nursing. Theres so much work required, you don't really end up learning anything trying to finish it all. Do NOT take if full time.

Comment:

Dr. Taylor's class is a work of art. He loves what he teaches and really wants you to succeed. GO to his office hours, talk with him about the material. I'm sure he's heard every "stupid question" in the book during his 31 years of teaching. Work hard, ask for God to give you strength-you can do it.

This is the nicest man you will ever meet and the hardest teacher you will ever have. You will really have to push yourself but Dr. Taylor is very helpful and wants to help you succeed. He is hard on the nursing students because he knows how difficult our jobs will be later on. Definitely take this class if you want to be well prepared!

BE READY TO WORK YOUR BUTT OFF. The textbook will be your bible. You MUST study and UNDERSTAND the material, not just merely memorize it. Quizzes(plural) every class. Taylor has a quirky and dry sense of humor. It may seem like he wants to kill your dreams of being a nurse but he is very willing to help you succeed. This class takes 100% effort!

This course covers more material than any student is capable of retaining, regardless of intelligence. Even worse, you are quizzed almost every class over the ridiculus amount of reading homework. His on-the-spot examples and humor distract from what you are suppose to learn and just waste time. Outside sources must be used if you want to pass.

I'm convinced this class was designed after a MEDICAL school class. It is ridiculously and unnecessarily hard. He is evil hiding behind the mask of a nice, smiling man. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This class will kill you on the inside.

This class is seriously THE HARDEST class I've ever taken. If you can avoid it, do. You learn A LOT of information, and you have to know little details, not just general concepts. My advice...STUDY STUDY STUDY all day every day.

This was the hardest class I have ever taken. Many people do not pass this class and have to retake it! Avoid this professor if you have trouble with testing!!! His tests are multiple choice but were so hard! I studied everyday for hours and read each chapter about 3 times each. He uses his own written book!

stay away if possible. even though he is very nice, he is SOOOO HARD.i studied non stop and i still did horrible. he is pretty boring in class and the lab is like 3 hours long. its a very time consuming class, and you need to keep up. the class avg. was like a 62 so brace yourself. many dont pass the first time.

He's a good teacher, you learn a lot from his class, but it's really hard to make a good grade in this class unless you spend like 6-10 hours a week studying for it. VERY time consuming class. Most people have to take it twice or 3 times before making a decent grade. Good Luck.
